1. That's exactly what I was talking about. This new dashboard, the one in the video you link is nothing like what was shown at E3 2009.
2. 'Scanning' specific objects from a partner business that have already been incorporated in game is not the same putting real life objects from your room into the game yourself, i.e. the skateboard in the trailer, and the obects in the E3 2009 Milo demo. The burger king kinectimals 'scanning' is nothing more than elabor...
I am not an xbox fanboy. I just wrote an extremely negative article towards Kinect, and own both consoles, so please don't jump to conclusions.
Halo/Halo2/Gears of war are all on PCs as well as xbox, yet most consider them xbox 'exclusives'. I don't think people should include PC in console exclusivity, as it isn't really fair. If MS didn't make Windows, a lot of their xbox games wouldn't be on PC too.

I consider games on PC as well as xbox to be pretty much xbox exclusives anyway. If Sony had been the ones with the PC OS, you'd most likely see PS3 games on PCs too. Not that it matters it whole lot either way.

It's not 'free stuff' because you're paying for it. I prefer choosing what content I want, not paying to be in some sort of 'VIP lounge' where I get first dibs at stuff I might not even want.

Did you read the article? They said the wanted to use kinect 'on top' of the regular controller. As in, you'll still have buttons as well.
