I'm extremely excited for this game. Ancient Rome always has been and always will be my favorite setting for huge scale, massively bada$$ battles.
The 690 is actually two GPUs in SLI built together to fit into one PCIe slot. So it actually wouldn't be a fair comparison. The 680 is nvidia's card at the "same tier" as the 7970s.
That being said, it would be freaking amazing if this one card did out perform a 690.

Haha. You people who call it a gimmick make me laugh. What's gimmicky about it? It's not like anyone is purchasing a PS3 for the 3D alone. It's just an extra feature. What's wrong with that? And the people that do have 3D TVs are highly enjoying the 3D which is usually very well done in most games.

It's actually pretty simple. If a game takes less than 10 minutes to be good at then it's probably a casual game.
Honestly, how could anyone list Dragon's Dogma as a disappointment? First of all there was zero hype for it, so how could you have such high expectations to allow such a huge disappointment?
And more importantly it's my favorite game of the year so far. It's really amazing. Most of the negative reviews I've read all seem to not understand how to play.

Galaxies sucked monkey balls and force unleashed was over-hyped and meh. The fact that they're on the list at all and more importantly in front of Republic Commando is insulting.
