Lol, I'd wager it's literally impossible to get through the game as you've described, but for argument's sake even if that's all you did then that's on you because there's obviously way more options and playstyles available. What they actually said is there would be no new models of the switch this year at all, not just a pro version. So either way, if this new hardware model is real, whether it's a pro or more a slight alteration like we saw last year for the standard switch, it'll still make liars out of nintendo.

I did the exact same thing, down to it being after the 3rd level even. The flipping around wasn't enough to compensate for everything else about it that felt very generic to me.
This argument makes zero sense. Half-life Alyx wouldn't exist without VR. It wasn't like they were going to make the game no matter what and then in the end decided to go with VR. It STARTED with them wanting to make a VR game and then evolved into a Half-Life game. No VR = No Half-Life Alyx. Period.
