yeah, i'd rather play a fighting game than fps, or as i like to call it a war game. i'm not completely against fps games, but i don't think they should ever feature wars currently being fought. i do think it's ok to do past wars as long as there historically accurate, and you learn something.

the only reason first person shooters are so popular is because there are currently wars going on. every gaming genre has had it time of popularity but none have remained popular for as long as first person shooters. we went from 2d platformers from the mid 80's-early 90's to fighting games from the early 90's-mid 90's to jrpg's from the late 90's to the early 00's. fps's have lasted from the early 00's to now 2013 (CLOSE TO IF NOT LONGER THAN A DECADE).
what would be great is if nintendo could get square enix to make final fantasy games with the traditional turn based battle system for the wii u & 3ds since square enix isn't using it anymore for the other consoles.
nintendo's best chance of making something like this happen is if they teamed up with ubisoft, but any company could probably do something like like this for the wii u if they took the time to think about how they could use the game pad.

another talented developer leaves a company, because of creative control. this is the type of news i wish nintendo payed more attention to, and that they would recruit some of these developers. give them first party studio's & enough money to make games for the 3ds & wii u

Update: I just checked out the bayonetta sales for the ps3&xbox 360 and it's close to around 1,970,000. all bayonetta 2 has to do is sell 2m million copies on the wii u to beat the combined total sales of bayonetta on both systems.
People are forgetting that when Nintendo & Platinum Games partnership was announced, Playstation & Xbox fans threatened to KILL the creators of the Bayonetta franchise on twitter...KILL. considering that platinum games is being as nice as possible without telling Sony &Microsoft fans to go F*ck themselves. getting rid of the game pad is the last thing nintendo should do. if anything they should make games that can switch between a 2 player split screen on the tv, or 2 player on 2 game pads while the tv screen is blank,
my dream for the next nintendo console would be the spiritual successor of the N64, with the ability to support possibly 4 game pads for multi player games. it would probably only be used for racing games, but if the system was powerful enough it would be great ...

you should check out this website called decalgirl.com. i've never bought any thing off of it but they have hundreds of skins for every console, handheld,tablet,phone,&lap top. they even have NES skins, so you can make you console (ps3,xbox360,wii,wiiu,xbox one, ps4) look like the NES.
a lot of people say that nintendo should develop more first party games , and i assume they mean the developers at nintendo like miyamoto should make new ip's ,and while i agree that they should to an extent, i believe they should go out side the company to find new talent. what happened this entire generation? the creators of a lot of great games where fired, or left there company because of creative differences, because they weren't allowed to create the games they wanted.

my older brother rented this game & and a WWFsmackdown game for me from blockbuster. the only thing i remember is dying a lot trying to out run a truck in a alley, and just when i did it, jumping over a railing, the head lights of a faster truck turned on and ran me over.
