That is almost a full week before the game officially releases. A sign of confidence just like Forza Horizon 3.
That is a huge size but considering the amount if contents that this game will provide from the campaign, co op, MP, horde mode, the whole 50 plus gigs will be living in my HDD for a very long time.
What is with all that anger? Why are you getting mad at Xbox gamers able to play BC games if you don't care for it? Why are you even viewing this article anyway and replying with hateful attacks if BC and Xbox has no concern for you? Shouldn't you be viewing stories pertaining to what new games you can play on your PS4 for the remainder of the year instead?
Definitely a great buy. It has big AAA blockbusters incoming from Forza Horizon 3 today, Gears 4 in a couple weeks, plays all major third party games, have continuous backward compatibility suppport of last generation games, and a UHD 4K player as an added bonus without a price increased. Also all your games and accessories will be forward compatible with Scorpio next year so your investments now on the Xbox One S won't be wasted if one decides to upgrade unlike the previous console gener...
Saving up for Scorpio!
I actually upgraded my preorder from the regular edition to the ultimate edition after today's reviews as I need to play this game by Friday instead of next Tuesday.
There is always one or two of these troll reviews.
Still, with this score added to metacritic, it is currently still at 90. Just amazing and congrats to Playground games and Turn-10.
@Lbolt187,
Cross platform deathmatch play between Xbox and PC is possible. Rod Fergusson revealed in a recent interview that cross-play won’t be limited to just cooperative modes (Horde Mode, campaign and multiplayer versus bots). In fact, while the matchmaking queue won’t have cross-play, it will be possible to set up private competitive matches with and against gamers who play on the other platform.
@Majin-vegeta
Wost comment of the week. Your reply literally makes zero sense.
Not really, a Play anywhere title on PC also grant you a Xbox cross buy digital title for free. So if you ever decides to get a HDR 4K TV, you can just get a Xbox One S or Scorpio to play them.
Stop spreading false info. If this is anything to go by, it means MS will not restrict Scorpio to the same restriction like another platform such as mandating parity like the same frame rate as the Xbox One for MP when playing online as already seen with Forza Horizon 3 running at up to 60fps on Windows 10 when co op against Xbox One gamers and Gears of War 4 doing the same with mouse and keyboard support. It will not hold back Micrisoft's mid-generation console upgrade to it's full ...
HDR is specifically made for console gaming and people that a HDR 4K TV in their living room. The Xbox One S and Scorpio will serve that purpose. A PC gaming rig is still mostly for desktop monitors use and HDR is a non existing product in that market at this point.
There is just not a lot of excitement for this game. The long delays really have taken it's toll. I agreed, Horizon Zero Dawn launching with the PS4 Pro would've been a killer combo.
The Xbox One S also show 3840x2160 if you press info on a 4K TV so that is an invalid claim as no one is claiming that console to be a 4K gaming machine.
This is like a Scorpio preview.
I don't get the downvote Megatron. What you are saying is true. Many games that are online focus like Destiny runs at 30fps and since there are no PC version, it would be nice and an extra selling point if Sony allows it and many games to run at a higher frame rate on the Pro. Why would anyone be against that?
As I recalled, many were saying before E3 that MS was definitely going out of the home game console business. At E3, not only is a better Xbox One console announced, a second console with 4K gaming support of the Xbox One line was also announced. That bought out the worst of the Xbox haters due to their disappointment and fear; especially after the new Sony consoles announcement that left many underwhelming impressions. I called that salty and angry and this blog is prove of that.
Awesome!
