Wow, whoever did that ripped off the Penny Arcade comic exactly.

The original Silent Hill, Dino Crisis, and Resident Evil (1&2) were the greatest survival horror games ever made. I still need to pick up Dino Crisis on the PSN...at $5 it's a steal.

Uncharted 2 was the straw that broke the camel's back in me getting a PS3. So I decided to play the first one before getting into the sequel, and even the first one blew me away with it's graphics(playing it in 2009).

Anybody know what date of the month Game Informer usually hits shelves? Never get magazines, but I'm going to have to pick this one up.

REmake for the Gamecube will forever be one of my favorite games of all time. Resident Evil: Director's Cut was one of my first PSX games, and Capcom did it all the justice in the world with that remake. Now all we need is a RE2 remake for PS3...that would reconnect some old fans with the RE franchise.

Go away. Don't support stereotypes man, not every 360 gamer only cares about FPS's. Guess people got this in their head because every 12 year old gets a 360 to play Halo on, but the 360 does have a hardcore fanbase that does care about story-driven games. Alan Wake didn't do well because (like people said above) it was up against RDR and there were literally no adverts on TV, and very few through the other outlets. And to say it's a bad game is your opinion, while it wasn&...

like people just buy the new Madden to get all the new draft picks, along with all of the free agents/trades on their new teams. If they would just offer a downloadable pack to correct all the new rosters (with rookies included) I guarantee their sales would drop considerably. While of course they would never do this because it would hurt their sales so much, it is garbage that the Madden enthusiast has to pay for the same rehashed product year after year.

Strong stories with characters that the player actually cares about are integral in advancing the art form that is interactive media (gaming). There is a delicate balance of focusing mainly on the story while trying to achieve good gameplay, that is where we are at in video game history. Where players expect a story that will enthrall/move them; we are truly experiencing a defining moment in gaming history. Not to say that old PS1 games didn't have enthralling stories, but it really se...

I knew this scene was coming before I bought the game and decided to just let the Russians do all the blasting. I get why they put the scene in the game for plot advancement and for shear shock value, but it really just felt out of place for a Call of Duty game. Garbage story/game overall and glad I traded it in.

Frankly the only time I have ever used/enjoyed motion control games is at parties. I don't own a Wii, though I've had a lot of fun with it (usually under the influence, naturally) it really doesn't appeal to the hardcore demographic of gamers. I mean...it has decent gameplay, it's fun with friends and all, but does any major developer really take the Wii (or soon to be Kinect) seriously as a platform for a major title? Red Dead/Uncharted/Mass Effect on the Wii? Come on now...

Let the phone companies do their thing...and please don't try and fight Google, you're not going to win. Focus on your cash cows, there is room for improvement.

went to the midnight launch of Red Dead (with Alan Wake and Blur also releasing at midnight). Before the clerk gets to the store full of people waiting on Red Dead he says "Before we get to it, who's the one person that had Blur reserved?" No one says anything. "I know he's here, he just paid for it like 30 minutes ago.". Everyone looks around. Nothing. "Alright then." *Checks out first person for Red Dead*

been totally surprised by seeing the deals they are offering. Really didn't think they were doing that well considering there is only like one store in my city (about 700,000 people) and I never see anyone there. Guess they must get a lot of online sales in this day and age.

but just have some new found respect for my PS3 (where I mainly loved my Xbox prior). Just subscribed to MLB.tv to follow my favorite team as I'm about to move to another state, and what do I see when I'm googling what features my subscription offers? How about streaming games in HD via my PS3 (as well as archived games from like 5 months ago). I'm freaking loving this, I thought I was going to have to get an HDMI cord to connect my laptop to a TV to enjoy these games on an HD ...

You feel pity for people not playing video games in 1080p HD? Wow, a statement like that kinda makes me lose hope in mankind.

While obviously there are more casual gamers with 360's than PS3's, there are also plenty of hardcore/discriminating gamers that only have an Xbox. Yes, it is possible. Not every Xbox owner owns Halo and Gears of War, I have never been attracted to either one...mainly because it's just more of the same old "good shooter with paper-thin story and characters" that span across all consoles ever. I didn't even get a PS3 until this year (loving the exclusives) and I never...
