I originally bought the game just for this reason, and also because I love the old survival horror games (which this is a quasi-tribute to). But found myself actually caring about the story and characters. Some of the townspeople are the most interesting characters I've experience for quite a while with modern games. This isn't to say that the game takes itself completely serious - it is one of the most humorous games in recent memory. It is intentional though, it's purposely ...
Pretty sure it's gonna be like 10 bucks.
Think it's mainly due to Nintendo and Playstation being firmly established in the Japanese video game market. Not sure what the original Xbox sold like in Japan, but we all know how the PS2 did. I'm sure Microsoft already conceded sales to Sony in Japan before they even made the 360 since they know they're not going to convert all those consumers away from something established.
I'd actually be interested to see how much (or really how "little") Mi...
Maybe they'll implement a "hardcore" (for lack of a better term) MP mode where it is more realistic and less run-and-gun. It would be nice to have both: appease fans of each, and give the option to players who like them equally to play which they choose.
Here's that vid.

Really cool commentary on Far Cry 2 and linearity in games. Worth a watch.
Far Cry 2 did a lot of things right, it was a very ambitious title. Granted it wasn't very polished and smooth, it was a step forward for "non-linear" games. Anthony Burch (of HAWP and Dtoid fame) did a good youtube vid on it, check it out.

Forgive me if I'm wrong, but I don't think the Wiki-leaks leak contained anything that was super secret. All were mainly memos and nothing that would really be considered "super secret" (like military HQ coordinates, high-profile targets, or w/e). Think the most substantial thing to come out of it was the fact that sensitive material COULD be leaked out to a civilian. The guy should not be charged with treason.
As a life-long Mavericks fan - this championship means so much. Not only did Dirk deserve a ring, but it was great to see Kidd, Marion, Peja, and Jet finally get that elusive ring. Dirk MUST be on the cover of 2K12. Arguable for Rose or Griffin to get the nod, but they will get there eventually. This Finals cemented Dirk as a top-20 (possibly top-15) talent in the history of the game. Get him on the cover and fix his hair. That is all.
Nope.
Wow...Natty Ice...you must have no respect for yourself.
He is married...that doesn't mean he's necessarily getting any, but he has at least found someone. Keep up the good work Jim.
So it has been confirmed that the 360 version has the option to install all three, then just play off of one? I remember seeing the article about the three discs for 360, but didn't hear if they were implementing that option to jut play off one after installation.
They got great value with that pick...can't believe he was still there. Not looking forward to seeing him twice a season.

Dude...if you really love Mass Effect (like me) you should be happy it was released on PS3 as it means more people get to enjoy the series (fanboys or not). I really don't get this dedication to one console or the other, a AAA console exclusive just means that the other platform has to work that much harder to compete with the other. As the consoles battle it out, the consumer wins.
I only go for achievements in the games that I love playing. It helps you find things you miss (for those of us that don't use guides when getting through a game) and it really does add replay value. Now those "grinding" achievements (find 100 whatevers) are a different story though...
Please get her to play Def Jam RapStar next...
Just finally got on this game....it is a BEATING.
And I'm loving it.
"STUFF BLOWED UP!!"
Huge marketing campaign for Alan Wake? That's the exact opposite of what happened, and also what doomed Alan Wake to only sell 700K...and releasing the same day as RDR. Alan Wake had a ton of potential, but Microsoft did not hype it up correctly and it suffered by the casual gamer fanbase completely passing it up.
Alan Wake is a great game (as anyone who actually played it will tell you) and by far the best console-exclusive the 360 has. It does a lot right: with a ver...
