Sony might've had more surprises but these games are years away, Microsoft (for the most part) showed me what I can play this holiday and near future in 2016. For that, they edged ahead of Sony in my opinion
You forgot Recore, gigantic, fable legends, elite dangerous, sea of thieves and rare replay on the Microsoft side

They're king when it comes to the racing genre if only because their attention to detail is unmatched and locked 1080p 60fps... Turn 10 are very very talented
I think you underestimate how many people who have been holding off upgrading because lack of bc, won't be massive increase in migration but it'll be big
Not in UK. Some countries in EU like spain for example. In UK I'd say it's near equal (with sony edging ahead slightly probably)
Wow I wasn't expecting any improvements alongside the almost 1:1 standard emulation, seriously got to give a shout to the engineers at Microsoft for their work
Fair enough but to the masses, Halo 5, Forza 6 etc. they're definitely more popular games
Microsoft with backwards compatibility, exclusives and hardware won best show but to be fair, Bethesda opened up very very well so it's close between those 2. Sony showed of some long wanted games and launched a kickstarter for shenmue 3 but we won't see these in 2015 or 2016. Ubisoft did fairly well but cringey in places, EA and Nintendo are the 'losers' imo
A very straight up, honest interview and he makes some very good points. Outside of the US and UK where sales are much closer, PS4's popularity can make up for the not as good 2015 exclusive games

PS4 won for ps4 owners but Xbox won for Xbox owners and pc gamers to me there's no doubt. Microsoft 'won'
Damn I knew the EU favoured PS but that's a crazy ratio! not very surprising as XB1 caters mostly to US and UK but even I'd say MS need to have a bigger approach to other territories in EU and elsewhere
If they manage to fix this (I imagine they will) I'll be very happy
Oh sorry I should've been clearer what I'm talking about is the opportunity cost. If Sony had spent the cod marketing money on Shenmue game, then that money that they're now going to use on the game could have been spent on another fan wanted game. Sorry if it still doesn't make sense but I see why my first comment here garnered such negativitiy, I should have clarified
If you don't have PC but have both consoles I'd go with the Xbox One version because they're partnering with MS to bring mods etc. to the xbox one and although they hope to bring them to PS4, it will be after Xbox One (if it happens)
