Yeah I said that, 17 months is a long long time so it could change
Looks like there's no 'special' edition and the price is full retail price, while this is subject to change I don't expect it too
I completely agree, I meant they need to make it playable offline otherwise people bitch and moan but besides, the destruction just wouldn't work in SP because you could e.g. destroy an objective etc. so I'm glad it's sticking to MP only
They really did go above and beyond if you compare it to recent remasters and some yet to come. All the other Gears games free, 60 fps multiplayer, 1080p and it looks beautiful. Well done to the team at Coalition, cannot wait to pick my copy up!
"Less Ambitious Single Player?" Because people need to be able to play it offline and Xbox One literally cannot compute that level of destruction offline... No console can. Also, a 100% destructible city kind of gets in the way of the story/missions so I'm happy for it to be multiplayer only
And for those of us in the preview program we can get this in September! Cannot wait, the new UI looks so sleek and clean and have you seen how fast it is? Damn
For how old they are, the last gen versions aren't as bad as I'd expect but Xbox One, PS4 and PC all look beautiful
I have a 72mbps average internet. On ps4 I only ever reach 30 max averaging around 20-25 whereas Xbox One reaches 60mpbs 50-55 average so I've experienced the opposite of you. Yes, I like being able to download multiple items but with PS4 downloads being as slower as they are (in my experience) It's easier for me to queue downloads on my XB1 and leave it on instant on, wish Sony would fix that
It's actually both systems that struggle with 1080p 60fps per second. PS4 only has COD, Fifa, MGS, Metro Redux, PES and whereas Xbox One only has: Fifa, Pes 2016, Forza Motorsport 5 & 6, Halo MCC. I may have missed some on either side but those are from the top of my head. My point is neither console is hitting 1080p 60fps consistently enough for one to be miles ahead of the other, when you get hands on with these games, there's practically zero difference noticeable to the human ...
Games aren't using DX12 yet and cloud (as far as we know) is only being used to offload cpu stuff (physics etc.)
@MightNoX PES 2016 is confirmed 1080p on both systems
Considering Ground Zeroes was a much smaller game and only 720p on Xbox One, good work optimising the fox engine to get it to 900p
I buy yearly so this doesn't personally affect be but seriously Sony use money you're getting to invest in upgrading your online infrastructure, too many slow downloads and downtime for my liking when I'm paying for the same service I was getting for free on my ps3. Shocked how they've got away for this long without upgrading anything even though they've been charging for online for ps4 since launch
Worth the read!
Loved the concept of the order but game was too short
I personally prefer external HDD's becaude you can use it with multiple consoles
@Magnes a simple copy & paste isn't much of a length dude
Hate to keep adding games to my damn shopping list! Gonna have to save up I think to get all these great XB1 games coming next year
Folders, something I've wanted since launch is folders
I wouldn't bet on it, ps3 never had a UI overhaul
