This argument applies to mobile devices, sales figures on games is what matters. And it's inarguably obvious that PC games don't have the numbers to back this claim
Sales figures beg to differ....
Too bad they didn't realize they could just make good games
Microsoft stole thunder?
Nope
Who cares, pretty satisfied with not having to buy another console right now.
Is this even a debate? Did anyone other than Sony have a showcase?
If they actually had a decent API, devs like me would make an app..
Can I rate this site WTF on the new N4G..... because seriously.
I literally don't understand this backlash. I'm not one to typically defend COD... but seriously? The franchise is at least moving forward.
You're kidding right, that man has been the worst representative in any gaming world... ever.
Fire Reggie, make technology more in line with everything else AT THAT TIME, implement current technology trends in your console, overhaul your network infrastructure, attract 3rd party devs. (fire everyone in your company and higher half western and half Japanese devs/managers/people who have worked in the industry external of Nintendo).
It helps branding, identity and prematurely helps people identify console quality for current and next generations to come... it matter a ton.
They chose a pretty bad sequence for the demo....
Can this guy retire already please....
It's depressing that this is Nintendo's first app :(.
The idea of associating it with Samsung and Android worries me... Sounds like the right direction though... just worried about execution.
On a further note for other people, the Vita's specs are chump change compared to an iPhone 6/ 6 Plus (let alone an iPad).
I love how I get down votes for something that can be proven and seen. It's really not an opinion of whether or not a current mobile device can pump out the same specs as a 360 or ps3... it's a technical fact. A fact that can be benchmarked and seen in GPU/CPU analysis. I really can't believe people are surprised a phone can catch up to 10 year old technology either :/. Even the current gen isn't the latest and greatest tech... so why is this such a surprise :/? If you look in...
Or stop supporting Microsoft all together.. you know... the smart thing to do
