i hate having to pay for online services like xbl and ps+. it should be an optional membership that just offers deals and the free games thing, NOT the ability to play online. if the services were up 100% of the time and had no issues, then fine, but that is not the case.
you can fix it yourself by manually setting up your network connection and changing your primary and secondary dns to "8.8.8.8" and "8.8.4.4", and changing the "mtu" from "1500" to "1473"
yup, i actually just did this a few minutes ago after reading about it on another forum and it worked lolz
i got mine to work by manually setting up my network connection as follows:
primary dns: 8.8.8.8
secondary dns: 8.8.4.4
mtu: 1473
just skip through the first menu of values until you reach the actual screen that only asks for the two "dns" values. the "mtu" screen will be after that, and after you enter the values i listed it should connect~ i've been offline on my ps4 for 3 days now and this actually worked~
the psn on my ps4 is most definitely not up and running.
my ps3 never really suffered this time around but i haven't been able to do anything online on my ps4 for days now. you'd think sony and ms would have some sort of back up plan for stuff like this by now... we have to pay for both services and it's useless now.
you wouldn't admit it if someone showed you better graphics anyways. besides, graphics are heavily based on stylization, so "better" graphics is opinion unless it's a direct port of the same game to another platform.

ms needed to be humbled early this generation just like sony was early last gen. both of them came out of the gate cocky as f*ck and paid for it. i still don't know why everyone wants a certain company to fail and have a one-console market. having no competition is a horrible thing.

idk why sony would bother. i'm pretty sure every single fighting game that has been released multi-plat has sold more on sony consoles. waste of money, imo. besides, ps controllers were always better for fighting games.
