i don't think this article is worth the controversy... i mean, the guy who made that prolly just didn't wanna go through the effort in finding the box arts for "x" amount of games... and seeing how it was just a very short presentation, it wasn't meant to be looked at and analyzed too much. it was eye candy while spencer announced it lolz please don't read too much into these trivial things...

i don't know why everyone is getting so worked up over this still. it's actually good that ms is in second place this gen. you can bet your ass they wouldn't have bothered improving the brand as much as they did if they were still in first. same went with the ps3 when it struggled early on last gen. competition forces improvement. you can argue over which console is better and whatnot, but they need each other in order to progress.
ms has already cut the price and sony hasn't... if they cut the price on the ps4, sales will increase that much more.
there's no doubt that ms is improving the outlook on the xb1 as of late, but come on... ps4 is pretty much at a 2:1 and still constantly selling more per month. not only that but seeing as how gamescon is only watched by a very small minority of actual gamers, the normal public really won't be affected by what was shown.
nintendo has so little buzz going for them that they have to resort to fake supply and demand tactics. i don't, and will never support amiibos. ever.

as long as it's worthwhile content, i can't wait. i just think it's stupid when devs says you can play for "x" number of hours and not see everything, but the extend of that "everything" comes down to really trivial stuff. fallout was always good with exploring though, so i have high hope for this one.

unless sales are so bad that ms is gonna pull xbox from the shelves, i don't see what the big deal is. as long as they're around, that's all that matters. some of you people seem to forget that competition is needed in order to innovate and improve... i'll admit that i prefer sony to ms, but you can bet ANY company wouldn't try and improve if their wasn't a need to.
for god sakes. why are we trying to bring back the argument of which console is more powerful. ffs, just move on already... it's so stupid. we all KNOW which is more powerful, so why can't we just leave it up to the developers to SHOW it now?

as good as it may be, it's not going to sell almost a 1:1 ratio with the console. no game ever does.
