Jesus, cant MS come up with an original IP? I could care less if MS gets MGS4. As long as it comes out on the ps3 why should anyone care? I really hope that this isnt their strategy. These games are old school, while sony is busy creating new IP's and new franchises MS is lapping up the remnants of last generation.
Seriously MS, make a new original IP that makes me want your console and quit attempting to lap up sloppy seconds and act like its a wonderful thing.

Plus GTA4 going multiplat was a bigger deal than FF ever would be. FF may have been more of a shock but GTA was bigger.
Its definitely overblown. The game will sell better on the PS brand. It will sell more PS's and its still on the ps system.
I really dont understand all the doom and gloom thats going around. If you dont own the intellectual property to 3rd party games you will lose them these days.
I never especially liked the JRPG, but as long as they dont gimp the game for any reason i dont see the problem with this going multiplatform
I guess people in here seem to think that its a 360 exclusive. Its being ported to the 360. the ps3 is still the lead platform for it and i dont know if they actually are going to be gimping it because of the fact that it has been in development for some time now.

give me a break fox. Youre either a fanboy or an idiot if you believe a game going multiplatform is going to somehow tip the tide in any console "war". FF13 will sell more ps3's than 360's. Obviously it wont have the impact it would have if it was to stay exclusive but it wont help MS as much as you think.
Other than Netfix and FF13 there really is nothing to see here.
