Are you serious? It looks worse than MS1. I know because I stuck MS in right after the demo. It looked so bad I dug around to see how old of a build it was. The textures are flat, its barren, particle effects are terrible. The ONLY thing the demo showed that was better than the original was its physics.
I am really glad that the demo was an old build. It was seriously a deal breaker for me.

They arent supposed to be. However, I dont have a problem with these (I'll be it very few) forum posts that basically state a fact that some/many wouldn't have known.

The ps3 crowd are going to eat this up. Just like the 360 crowd would.
Microsoft is the largest reason it couldnt be done on the 360. No way they would allow the amount of user generated content being created in LBP on XBL.
Secondly, you need someplace to store those levels you make, NO WAY in hell it would be a server. MS has already claimed that you have to build the game for all systems, so there goes LBP.
Those are the reasons LBP cannot be done on the 360. Happy?

correct. although we dont know the exact reason that MS shut down this studio its only part of a pattern that can best be described as disturbing.
Consoles are sold on exclusives. Not owning these IP's is dangerous. It shows a lack vision for the future, something MS has been plagued by the entirety of this console lifecycle. 1st and 2nd party studios build your reputation and show exactly what a console can do.

After that fact is understood, downsizing is never a good thing. Innovation stems from 1st and 2nd party studios, its what sells your console. MGS seems to be in a reorg, whether its good or bad for them I do not know. All i know is its not good for the xbox franchise.
the importance of separate studios is the ideas that differentiate them. Having everyone under one roof is just a bad idea.
i am starting to get that vibe. They have been systematically releasing 1st and 2nd party studios. This doesnt bode well for the future of MGS.

3rd party games dont sell consoles, this is not the way to upold a platform. The only thing MS is going to have is LIVE and I can guarantee you that by the time the PS4 hits Sony will have caught up to them.
and it was so what? When the annual reports come out and Sony WIPES the floor with the 360 all the while providing more innovative and better content how can you deny this?
It was the year of the ps3 since 07 and it will be the year of the ps3 until the ps4 comes out. MS is good competition dont get me wrong, but they arent in the same league as the PS brand. They need more 1st and 2nd party studios and more diverse software.

yeah, everyone said that last year and when the annual fiscal reports came out the ps3 spanked the 360. I expect this trend to continue.
People put too much weight on the price of the console. 199 bucks doesnt allow you to play the games you want. Consoles are sold by exclusives, period. The ps3 was in some cases 300 dollars more expensive last year and still outsold the 360.
This game sucks. I am glad I have gamefly. Seriously, if you are going to make a game about blowing sh*t up at least make it look good. Gameplay is meh, graphics ARE BAD, and the story is worse. 6.0 IMHO.
