d@mn! that video got me excited for both games... both will be must haves. We need more footage of KZ..
this is dumb. comparing a finished game like gears to a game that is still 7 months from release... STUPID. if anything its a testament to how good KZ looks. textures are better on gears, for now, oh yeah and NOTHING goes on in gears, i like the art direction in KZ. they really need to do something with those textures though.

i definitely agree... if it wasnt a video game it may have been a turn at batting practice, something is wrong with this kid and too bad it wasnt caught earlier. from what i understand of the cover system in killzone it will never leave the first person perspective... so it wont be like R6. Shooting blindly means exactly that. popping around corners means exactly that. it is going to be quite a bit different than GoW, but it will be more realistic and should be interesting
well, obviously the kid had some mental problems... its not necessarily the parents fault, who knows what problems this kid has, but apparently they were many. What was the family dynamic like? how did this family settle disputes? there are so many factors that go into sh!t like this that just blaming the parents or the child is most likely very inappropriate and very very misleading. It is never that simple, EVER.

It is the exact same machine except for 20 extra gigs... same manufacturing and everything. If they can sell the 60 gig for 499 they can sell the 80 gig for 499... I mean how much could the extra 20 gigs cost sony? a couple of cents im sure.
well, i somewhat agree. I agree with you because nothing is revolutionary about this games gameplay. That is unless the destructible environments become much more numerous. A fully destructible environment would change how you played the game signifcantly. Also they have no hud, which is quite different from the fps genre (although not revolutionary). AI changes gameplay, graphics change gameplay, and mood changes gameplay. All of which seem to be on par for this game.

well, ok. Gears, as of right now has better textures. Thats a fact. another fact is that killzone has so much more going on with it that its really hard to compare. Would you rather have 2 guys come at you, or would you rather have many enemies attacking? THats a personal preference, but no one can deny the fact that there is a lot more going on in killzone.

well... its not about the overall lineup. I truly think that the ps3 has the best and most diverse lineup of the season. Its about 1. Is the price really worth the games? 2. does ps have what it takes to overcome the halo effect? 3. How can sony start to really market their system, not only for its quality but also sell the system through its hardware?

Their first mistake was to call this a game. Its basically a 3-d avatar thats able to do the things that will be available on the xmb. Yes, that means that you never have to go into home if you dont want to. ALL OF THE FEATURES WILL BE AVAILABLE ON THE XMB. Its not the sims or second life. Its a basic service thats a little less basic than the competitors.

gameplay does look stale. i wish I could float around like the characters do in the game. graphics look ok though, but if the characters float around like that I dont think i will be picking this one up.
i agree... there is just something about killzone... it just "feels" better. I really cant wait for the finished product. I think its gonna blow some minds.
