Shooter? I don't really know what you would describe InFamous as but a shooter doesn't really fit.
To be fair to Gears, its a good game but infamous is far superior in terms of gameplay and just because it didnt sell as well as Gears doesn't make it worse. Same for reviews, each of the gears games has deteriorated in quality in my opinion with only certain MP aspects actually getting better.

I'm sorry but the business argument shouldn't be brought into especially when we have to look at it from our perspective, which is consumer.
I do not want to(and won't), in five years be purchasing re-releases of my favorite PS3 games because production has stopped on PS3 hardware. BC should be standard from a consumer perspective, especially during those months as an early adopter, when console launches are notorious for game droughts.

Yes you do have all those services available to you in your house. But there is room to think that those who don't have a host of electronics in their home might see having them all in one place being worth the cost of an XBL subscription. I'm not defending XBL at all as I believe that what they offer should be free like most of the features on PSN. There are only a few things worth paying for.

If its in your download list you can re-download it, but only if your still subscribed. You can't play or download PS+ games if your subscription is expired.

I have to say 1000 tester for the architecture of the online is plenty. Especially considering alot of these people have been working on DayZ as part of the community development team (like yourself) so they know what to be looking for.
