I agree, I rarely bought used games until this generation. Most games from previous gens gave you value for your money (providing you picked the good games, which lets face there were plenty of), these days games release broken.

im the opposite lol, i often have trouble with my xbox and none with my ps3. i also use the mkv2vob converter for those pesky mkv files that dont run.

i agree too, i found the orginal bad company to have a much more enjoyable multiplayer, especially the map design. I hope they bring back a select few as dlc for the second one. Although with the new destruction 2.0 alot of the rush bases would be easily taken out

It would actually be quite easy to tell if he tampered with the opening points, as they are on the back of the console at the connecter points around the hdmi-out slot and psu in slot, as well as at the warrenty sticker.
They can hardly demand money from the kid without even telling him the reason. At least show him the proof of modification before acting as aggressively.
