Is it not the fact that they are picking and chosing reviewers thats the problem? There is a difference between placing an embargo on all reviews and purposefully not allowing certain reviewers to publish what they might consider an "unfavorable" review.

I agree, so many people willing to jump on the bandwagon without even realising that this has been around as long as the xbox 360. Its always been MS way of stopping gamesharing.
If new players are basing thier purchase on the beta then i highly doubt that number, even though the finished game would deserve it.
I kinda agree with you apart from the part were you say we should be privileged. I sure as hell don't, I and plenty other BF fans played good money for the promise that we would get to play the beta. Dice should feel privileged so many of its fans bought a crap game just to test it.

I could pick thru these games and point flaws on what games there are actually worth buying but i'll just use two examples, No more heroes is on wii and xbox 360 and dcuo is on PC. Much better on PC i might add.

Oh lol. Yeah the whole at the first base at Alpha seems to have gotten much worse today for some reason. It wasn't so bad at first but if you fall through now your not getting back out. Worst still is there seems to be a minority of players who will intentionally jump in to get lots of kills. Sad really considering its a beta. I fell into today and there was a full squad of enemies in there lol
Not just cod, i have heard of this happening to people for Fifa Ultimate team cards too, sad times when people do this.
Yeah obviously, but surely most people will have more time than usual work/school/college/uni etc not being part of the equation. Either way i can't wait :D
