yes i am aware they said they will not be showing it at e3, but they will, the 360 is about to go into it's 8th year on the market in november, time to pack it up and get a new one out.

I apologize for coming off as "elitist" in many of my posts. I am aware how it appears, that is not my intention.
It is just that, as a passionate gamer, and someone who loves to see giant strides made in the industry, I feel that the lack of any new consoles in so long is holding us back, not just in graphics, but in advancements in physics, a.i. calculations, depth of gameplay...ect....it all begins with developers having more RAW POWER to allocate resources to....

pc games from 2006 look better than anything on console, next gen consoles wont even look as good as the witcher 2, hard reset, arma 2, crysis, crysis 2, metro 21033 ect on pc maxed in 1600p, you'll never know though, 720p is sooooooooooo old

seriously, it looks awful on 360 compared to pc, looks great for a console game though. console graphics have not really changed in 3 years, so i guess you should know what to expect.

as in games that people on this site rave about like killzone and halo are JUNK compared to crysis 1 and warhead, part 2 was a bit watered down because of the limitations of consoles. killzone has terrible lag, and halo feels like your moving in molasses.

Look at a game like The Witcher 2 on pc, it looks better on pc than any next gen console game will in 1600p ultra, that is a fact. It is deeper and more polished than mass effect, dragon age, skyrim, deus ex ect.....
it was made by a small team of polish dudes for a FRACTION of what 1000's of lesser gam...
please, the original crysis sold over 3 million units on pc alone, and it is still one of the best looking and more importantly, the best playing shooter games out, (on pc of course, the port to console looked awful in sub hd with zero anti aliasing and ran awful, as expected)
crytek are masters of their craft, they make naughtydog, bungie and other big name devs look like rookies with the tech they produce.
far cry 1 on pc still, to this day looks better...
crysis 3 is NOT going to be on ps3 and 360, if it is, it will look just like crysis 2 did on console, this will be a next gen and pc game
the pc version will look AMAZING!!
i smell a $5 steam summer sale, think i'll wait till then!
