Its all about the stealth, the awesome bosses, and the great story. Mgs3 was as close to perfect as a game can get imo. Mgs4 not so much, hated the end but still a great game.
I agree it wont outsell cod on consoles but maybe on pc. I think both are great and not comparable one is fun one man army and one is more squad based teamwork. Both are really fun. Ive been saying new orleans would be the best for a while. Halfway through the game a big hurricane could hit and totally change the dynamics in the game. That would be dope going out to the boyou's and swamps. Id also like one in south africa maybe johannasburg? I think it would be a great fit for gta. Dubai india would be a good city also. Lots of good places that would stand out.
Passes suck. Make it like socom 4 where everyone can go online but all the features are available if you buy new. That way people can rent it to try it and people dont get punished for buying used they get rewarded for buying new. Plus most people who buy used would try it and prob wind up getting the pro pass if they like the online and most dlc to boot. Bottom line make a good online game if you want people to buy your game.

You can also buy a 200 dollar device that turns ANY hdtv or projector into a 3dtv/projector. 3d is cheap now with a 47in 3dtv only around 800 and a hd 3d projector around 500.

I like regen health in games. In Resistance fom i got in situations where i had one bar and no health around right after a checkpoint and a wave of hard enemies comes out. Ur basically fu**ed. Regen health keeps the flow of the game instead of backtracking to find a health pack. Neither is realistic imo. I do like shields and health in borderlands but it was an rpg, fps need regen it was a big leap for gaming imo.
Sure by the same people who consider FF a sony franchise. Mgs was on psx and gamecube, mgs2 was on ps2 and xbox, mgs3 was on ps2 and going to 3ds 360 and ps3. Its hardly a sony franchise. Its a great franchise that everybody NEEDS to pay. I wish this had twin snakes in it so we could have 1-3 in one box. To be fair black ops had way more content than kz3, r2, homefront, moh, and almost all fps excluding halo. You got a campaign, dead ops arcade, zombie mode, alot of multiplayer maps, and slitscreen for multi/zombies, and botzone. Mw3 will have campaign, multiplayer, spec ops, and survival mode. Thats olot of content before dlc. People say the dlc is milking but not to me, fans want it so they give it. I dont buy maps but i sure as hell will buy the zombie map bundle.
I just got La Noir and Socom 4 for about 70 bucks there and i get a free 35 dollar used game. Thats a damn good deal. Hate GS if you want but the one where i live is great and has a really cool guy who works there. I was going to get socom 4 used and la noir new for 40 but he found a used one in the back so i could get a buy 2 get one with it and gave me a coupon for the free 35 dollar game. I ususally go to GS when i need something to play inbetween big games to grab a few 5-10 dollar games....

The 3ds has insane support right now with remakes, classics, and new ip's. It has huge games coming from top franchises. The vita has tons of announced games. The psp had crap support but i think sony will really support the vita and if it sells 3rd parties will also. Both systems will have killer jrpgs so il wind up with both.

Thats true but it doesnt need to be a 600 dollar machine. They could build a 4-500 dollar machine and sell it for 3-400 at launch (most new consoles sell at a loss). Even if it doesnt have the best gpu in the world we'd get a HUGE upgrade from more ram and dx11 in games. I think ms will use dvds like the pc does. Run the whole game off of a hard drive so the dvd can hold larger amounts and the laser wont wear out. Running games from disk is getting outdated imo. We know AMD said it will be a beast so i cant wait to see it. I love launches because it brings a ton of new ip's although i usually wait to buy consoles until theyre cheaper personally.

Umm what? The 360 slim is 200 where the ps3 is 250. The 300 dollar 360 gets a kinect with it. The 360 is STILL cheaper even after a price cut. Sony would need a 200 dollar model or a 300 dollar move bundle to equal the price of a 360.
The real story here is the second vita with 3d. Im sure they will have a redisign with 3d and hopefully hdmi. Il wait for the redisign to see what features it adds.
I think the 3d on the 3ds is awesome, it really adds to games. The vita isnt competing with nintendo here. Different audiences, maybe 20% of customers overlap (my random made up number). Both kick ass.
I just started playing socom 4 and sometimes in a match of 32 only like 3 people have mics. In the more hardcore modes more people probably use them but i was suprised by how little people used them in a tactical game. Some games are better though but ive noticed on psn its a crap shoot if you dont have a clan or a lot of people in your friends list. On my way to socom 4 right now.
