Format doesnt matter as long as long as next gen has a mandatory harddrive for each console. Use dvd to install games to the hdd or use dd. Bluerays good if you use the disk to read off of but its faster without a disk and no laser to wear out. Thats what im hoping ms does next gen.
Im excited to see a next gen kinect that can actually scan in stuff and powerful enough to use a finger to point at what you want like a mouse. Faster and more precise would be awesome.
WTF is sony thinking? No uncharted mp, no modnation mp, they need mp games to sell the system. 3ds even has mp pretty much standard for its games. Im sure the games will come but why would anyone buy a cart racer without mp, its where the real fun and replayability is. I also want sony to embrace what nintendo does where 4 players can play off one catridge. Its like local play for a handheld and is pretty damn awesome. Im still hoping for a uncharted vita mp game. It would be so much fun.
Im happy because i get a sequel/spinoff to one of the best games ever Alan Wake. I also finally get to play one of the best rpgs ever made The Witcher 2. I also get to play a new Halo in a new trilogy which is going to be EPIC. Im sure there will be some other stuff throughout the year but i also have a 3ds, ps3, wii, and a vita (i need to buy). Also need to beat mass effect 3 with my game saves from the first 2 and get back to some games i need to play or finish. Dont see how ps3 is much bet...
Ive been waiting for syphon filter to return to consoles. the psp games were fantastic and revived the franchise. I hope its true itl be a day 1 buy for me. Gow4 idk about 3 ended perfectly its like trying to make a gears 4, just wont work unless its prequel.
A gamers union. We all pay 20 bucks a year and those funds could be used to help develop games we want like shenmue 3 or whatever games we want but will likely never see. It could boycott crazy dlc or online passes or if a developer is treated badly boycott a publisher. We could use member fees to help develop indy games and publish them as long as the indy dev pays back the loan when the game sells enough. Could really help the industry and us if it was done right.
Im sure its a co-op mode like hoard or resistance 2. Watch the trailer its a single player campaign judging from the three guys you play as. Im fine with extra modes and since when do people bitch about something extra? Tell them to remove it and sell you only the campaign for 60 bucks, speak up now dont be shy.
Revelations has a 2 player mode on top of the campaign and both seem to be awesome. Wait until we know more before you all blow your gaskets.
I thought so too until i saw vids of people acually playing with it. It looks really comfortable and il def use it with re revelations and mgs3. RE plays fine without it (from the demo) but i usually play at home or in hotels so its fine for me. I hope we get a redesign but its not as important as people make it out to be. It would also need to be bigger because theres no room in the 3ds for a 2nd circle pad from what ive heard, the battery takes up the space where it would go.
Im sure you will be able to but you will prob move slower when aiming. Re Revelations has moving while aiming also. Its kind of akward and a bit stiff but it worked alot better than i thought with one circle pad. Also looked really amazing for a handheld game. I cant wait for both those games.
Is that a joke? The wii-u and a massive number of 3ds games. We also get xenoblade in the us and the last story in europe not to mention ds games are still coming like devil survivor 2. This year is nintendos year, they have all the momentum if they advertise and capitalize on it.

Capcom is one company that can crank out amazing graphics on whatever hardware they choose. Re4 on gamecube, mh tri on wii (and 3ds), re reveltions on 3ds, re5, all best looking games for the time when they released. Re6 looks amazing also, cant wait.
Bought it day 1 for full price and i dont regret a thing. I remember popping it in on my hdtv and bieng blown away by how beautiful it was. The music and story drew me in right away. it might have been too repetitive and not have much exploration but i loved it. Staying up til 3am trying to beat those summons is a memory il always remember from this gen. Some of those were tough as hell.

Amy looked good from the 20 minute walkthrough i saw. Its a 10 dollar game people. Its compitition is indy games and downloadable titles not full retail games. The graphics are amazing for a psn title and the story seemed interesting. I havnt played it and it might suck balls but i wont bash it until i try it. Only thing that seemed off to me from the vid is the voice overs, pretty darn bad.

Im really excited for this. Nintendo is my favorite games/console maker but the wii just didnt do it for me, this seems like a return to the core. Tears of joy thats it getting an english release for me to import.
