Its fact its cheaper to buy disc version than pay on origin.
They can not play new games that have eboots encrypted with the new keys. However not everything uses new keys for the example ico and shadow of the colossus collection seemed to be using older keys.
Rage however is encrypted with new keys meaning not playable for the pirates.

Stupid comparison. PC's have HDD's as standard. So data can be heavily compressed. Look how big PC games are getting and you will see how stupid your comparison is.
As of right now Devs are not allowed to use 360 hard drive if it means making sure people without hard drives can not play the game. Meaning devs are still limited to 8gb.

You are aware steam do the same thing are you not ? That is how they do all stats on there website. to know the average OS's hardware etc.
People just jump to the conclusion that it was spying. But really just like steam do is so they can gather information about highest used OS or average specs etc.
