My worry with Neo is that they said it's out to handle VR correctly which tells me that even though the current playstation VR sets come with an additional power dongle to boost VR processing, it will still have some issues somewhere with VR - that alone would make me worried about the VR experience, it's as if this is a beta and it REALLY REALLY works when the neo comes out.
I could be wrong but that's almost how it sounds.
Urm they sort of did show off two consoles - they showed the Xbox one S in full form and then the guts of Scorpio so they kinda did show and talk about 2 consoles.
@jts1891 if you read what both companies have re-iterated, the games will be the same from console to console only the newer consoles (Scorpio and Neo) will DISPLAY the games better in 4k mode and the frame rates will be better but apparently no game will have less features between consoles so everything you get on call of duty for xbox 1 will be the same as what you get on Scorpio only it will look better and potentially run smoother on the newer consoles.
I will buy a Scorpio if it is allowed to be used as a next gen console - if it is just going to make current games look better and have a better frame rate then what's the real point in moving from an Xbox one?
I think the games on the Xbox one are pretty dammed good as it is so a whole new 500 bucks or whatever it comes out at for 4k that I don't have, VR that I don't have and probably will not shell out for the head set for etc. seems like a waste and I have l...
Seriously????? Have you not noticed how Sony copies half the stuff xbox has done?? showing online/offline, notifying you when a friend comes online, achievements, party chats etc etc etc - based on your logic there should be only one frigging car manufacturer out there, one dishwasher manufacturer out there, one bluray manufacturer out there etc. sheesh
No - the connector is FREE - Phil already mentioned that
"Additionally, in order to make the Xbox One S as compact as possible and make all of these updates, we removed the dedicated Kinect port from the back. Kinect for Xbox One will still be compatible with Xbox One S via the Xbox Kinect Adapter for USB connection and offers the same great experiences as the current console. For fans that currently own a Kinect for Xbox One and plan to purchase the Xbox One S, we ar...
Oh Activision is involved, it will probably suck.

Rare is hiring y'all
Urm Azure does a little more than serve Microsoft Office and games....
@sangoku_d - out of that 40 million not even HALF of the people are going to buy PSVR right away or within any kind of 6 month time frame.
yeah, i got that quite a while ago off of gamefly for 7 bucks
for the price the Witcher 3 is a freaking steal
I cannot wait for this game to come out - looks like my kind of game!
soon SOME of you guys will have the Xbox One that you claimed you would never buy / support if you keep getting all of these features.......... :)
That price will absolutely drop far much lower than what you are thinking.
Microsoft are a little more savvy than the average forum poster - they know that selling it at 1k or higher would pretty much yield in no sales and a tremendous loss.
Another thing to remember is they are not actually aiming at this initially to be a gaming device - far from it - it is supposed to be more for real-world applications.
That is why they already have a v/r...
Why do you keep saying it wont take off because it is too expensive???? You don't know how much it is going to cost.
but they say this type of thing each and every year - nothing new.
I enjoyed it on the Original XBOX - way before the Vita and PS4 - surprised this is being made for the xbox one to be honest, kind of dated.
How is Bully scholarship edition at $15 a good bargain? I absolutely loved the game and wish a part 2 would be made but its not worth $14.99 any longer.
I am going to save 14 bucks a week for 17 months - thats just one less 6-pack of craft beer a week, then, if I decide to change my mind and buy one, I will have almost a grand stashed away ready to go!!
