I didn't buy Blops out of disrespect for Treyarch but I've played MW1 & 2 and one can easily rack up enough kills to get the maximum killstreak reward every life they have if they play it cautiously. It's not as fun, but it's really simple. Sniping from distant spots and making sure to change where you shoot from after every few kills will almost always equal you getting a Nuke or AC130 or what have you. It's amazingly simple because all it takes it a few retards on...
Why has there been such a dramatic leap in graphics for this wave of PS3 exclusives?
Resistance 2 to 3 = HUGE difference in graphics quality
Infamous 1 to 2 = ENORMOUS difference in graphics
Killzone 2 to 3 = SUBSTANTIAL leap in graphics
And where it gets really interesting...
Uncharted 3 looks like it murders Uncharted 2. I guess it's just more noticeable now that these exclusives are pulling away at a much faster rate t...
@ ct03 - Fewer games are coming out for the PC nowadays. You don't need me to tell you that developers are looking more and more towards console development since it's far more profitable. PC gamers are on average a more sophisticated bunch than console gamers, but they're definitely more dickish, too.
You PC fanboys are so delusional.
1) You pirate the shit out of Crytek's games and wonder why they don't like you guys as much as they used to.
2) After pirating the ENTIRE single player more than a month before launch, you guys bitch about it being an inferior product and start yelling at them for a DX9 only build not even running at maxed out settings that you STOLE.
The game will support up to DX11, the game WILL look much better than Warhe...
It didn't say that there are going to be zero scripted boss fights... just that this particular enemy type (not even a boss if I'm correct) can fight in a variety of ways. Still, looks very promising and the graphics look unreal!
Apparently only 99.999% of gamers play FPS's currently. Bulletstorm aims to tap that 0.001% for all it's worth.
Apparently "We fucked up" is difficult to say for some people.
Crytek has stated on more than one occasion that the PS3 version was outperforming the 360 on consoles. When a dev decides to shit-talk the gaming community they normally say that it's "equal across both platforms," not that one is clearly better than the other. They said they were trying to get the 360 up to par with the PS3 version before release, so I'd assume that Playstation owners will be fine.
Also, I'm pumped to see what the PC screenshots woul...
Looks like Mickey Rourke, Halle Berry and some other guy.
What this man said.
Oh, how the "intelligent" PC gamer shows his classiness...
1. I can afford it, cost is not an issue. I just don't see it as being worth my time to do.
2. I know which components are good quality, that doesn't mean I want to go out and buy them to play a couple games that I otherwise couldn't.
3. Telling me that I "completely fucked up and (am) doing it wrong" just because my shitty-ass eMachines can't run ...
Really? Cause my PC is less than 4 years old and can't run shit.
Still too much for this POS.
Yeah, fuck those guys who like not having to upgrade shit all the time because they're in college and have other shit to do!
The trailer for Versus looked phenomenal, and after the criticism leveled at XIII I would be willing to bet that XIII-2 will be much more open in terms of progression through the game, and will probably score 90+ on Metacritic, as will Versus if I had to guess.
Only thing I didn't like was that Versus has damage numbers displayed on screen during live combat. That always is awkward to me and sort of reminds me that I'm in a game world and takes away from the experien...
Don't know why I read that article all the way through. NONE of it is new to anyone who's read the previews that have already been out forever. That being said, the game looks great and Irrational always has my trust.
Someone doesn't know the meaning of the word "plentiful," it seems. Here, I'll help out. It refers to quantity, not quality. I never said anything about the quality of those two titles, I just simply stated that there were only three retail exclusives on the PS3 that I had a great time with this year. Next year that number will likely balloon up to more than a dozen.
Now... I'm a HUGE Sony fanboy, but I'll admit, our exclusives were not very plentiful this year. God of War III, Heavy Rain, and GT5 are great, but MAG and Modnation Racers weren't my thing.
Can't say the 360 was any better, however...
Next year though... *starts salivating*
I prefer both, to be honest. Bioshock, Ratchet & Clank, and Mass Effect are prime examples of this. I don't see why we should accept a shorter game or one with lower graphical fidelity just because the developer doesn't put in enough effort to maximize both aspects of the game.
Side note: I'd rather some of the games on the market have multiple hours tacked onto the campaign than have useless throw-away multiplayer experiences that I will check out and aban...
I'll believe it when it happens.
