Uhh... the author clearly admitted that KD means EVERYTHING when it comes to death match game types, so... please put your comment into perspective. If the objective of the mode you are playing is to rack up kills and avoid deaths to make your team win, then KD is basically a direct measure of your value to the team.

None of that was really "new" (to me at least) but I cannot wait for this game. Looks like SSX3 but with A LOT more content added in there. Seriously, this game is bigger than Skyrim and Dark Souls put together. I remember coming across this quote "When you consider there are 150-180 drops, each likely to be around four-five minutes in length, it is clear that SSX has a lot of gameplay to offer" and almost falling out of my chair.
