I bought it and the game keeps crashing on me. Money well spent. From what little I played the game has clunky controllers at best. Wait for a price drop or just don't bother.
My problem is that they say it's the best Bioware game to date. It's not. ME3 story is plain out DAO: The Space Edition.
For this game to be the best Bioware made to date it must beat games like, the Baldur's Gate series, Neverwinter Nights, KOTOR, DAO, and it's own Mass Effect 1. Sorry but that's not going to happen.
"...the game itself is easily the best game BioWare has ever made, to date"
And that's where I stopped reading. Don't get me wrong, ME3 is a good game, but saying it's the best game Bioware made to date is plain out wrong, wrong, wrong.
Some truth in it, but in Skyrim's case it's also an Engine issue and not just up to the hardware. It's all in how your engine uses the resources allotted to it. In Skyrim's case, the engine wasn't created specifically for the PS3 and it has to work on multiple platform. If you notice the best looking games on consoles this generation are mostly exclusives. Make a top 5 list of the best looking console games and just see how many games the PS3 has and see that they are all ...
Ok. I'm totally making my Next Shepard to look like her.
I mistakenly clicked on her in the Citadel, they wisely had her back facing me, so when I realized the mistake I made I told her to fuck off.
Someone needs to tell this guy it's 2012. Seems like he's stuck in the past.
I also enjoy playing Jumping Frogs Multi Player.
"BioWare should be commended for building a series of games with such a tight continuity reining in their massive world".
No, no, No. Wrong. Bioware changed many things that were established in ME1 and it felt cheap and lame.
1Up does it again.
Cool idea but I still don't trust cloud gaming. Lag and bandwidth is still very much an issue with that trend.
As you say, it started good. Then it all became fast and actiony. Issac was no longer the odd man out. His movements were not as heavy as with the first game.He just went all Rambo. I just didn't like how he "Brought it to them" as EA so beautifully put it. I also felt...SPOILERS...that the whole going insane part wasn't done right at all.
The first game was much more cerebral while the second one was much more action.
As much as Dead Space 2 completely disappointed me I am glad EA did not went Assassin's Creed all over it and went with a yearly game release.
Why not? Better engine then the one Dead Space uses already.
Let's just wait.
@fluffyd:
It's not that identical but easier then the ps3. The 360 is more closely related to the PPC system apple used before they moved to intel. All early development for the 360 was done on apple's G5 series until MS quietly shifted it back to windows. Oddly enough the 360 cpu cores are based from the Cells PPE's.
This who issue has nothing to do with manpower or specs but everything do with MS's willing to fork over money. MS doesn't really ...
Yes I have seen bad previews. Besides listening to the various podcasts they are still very positive about it. There's really no point to this. You're just trolling for the sake of it. I'm done with you and your "industry" friends. Provide some credentials or go home.
@Megaton:
Seems fishy to me because all the previews from the various outlets have been extremely positive about this game.
I love bioshock but even that game was nothing compared to System Shock 2. Also, can you be more specific on "Industry friends"? You just come off as a troll.
How about you wait until the game comes out?
Ever heard of Google?
