on my radar. The release date is so far away compared to a bunch of other great games that are coming out soon that are of much more immediate importance. I did love 4 but they have much more to say and show with 5 before I'm hyped.
has very much to worry about per usual. They make enough money and Sony pays them handsomely for what they do. I hope that Resistence 2 is as good and better than the first. Ted Price is great at his job, he knows what he's doing.
it pours.
for the 360 going to the Japanese Xbox Live Arcade.
really new. I'm interested to see if they can make the MP compelling enough that people will gladly take the medic position instead of having one of the bad fps players in your clan take that spot. That would suck if all the positions weren't fun. Thats the only weakness with the plan thus far.
pie metaphor but if you don't remember Sony had studios developing games all the way back on the Sega Genesis. They have been in the game quite a while. I don't mind diversification I do mind Viacom. They're too big already in my opinion.
Lets try to keep the gaming companies owned by people who know about gaming and the industry!
I want another full fleged game not just the MP. I can't wait to hear more and see ANYTHING from this game. This just jump very high up on my radar.
was his personal swan song on developing for the PS2. He's obviously going to be focused on developing on the PS3 from here on out.
don't know his full body of work then. And calling him unoriginal and comparing that to Nintendo? Um, Nintendo has lived of Mario for almost their entire existence! He's had so many lame games that its ridiculous.
once. When did he change it all the time? He quit Sony wanting to make smaller games and now he wants to make medium sized games. That was one mind change. Besides I think Dave Jaffe has done enough great work that he can change is mind any time he damn well pleases.
make it both. If you want to buy the story mode you can buy the BD version. If you want to play the online, then you could buy the PSN version. I think it would be cool if they did it that way if they wanted to follow the PSN/Warhawk model. I hope they make a full fledged game. I'd love a full game like Black and an online battle system.
agree Keo. MGS4 is my game thus far for the entire system. I want this game above all. I think Resistence will climb that list pretty quick after some of the early year big titles hit. I'm not completely sold on LBP but MGS4 has my money 10x over.
likely end in mediocrity. I don't see this ending well for anyone in the gaming world.
didn't see this coming. I hope they don't set out to make a kiddie game.
do you good. Lair was made by Factor 5 with the money Sony gave them. Sony was the publisher. They can't make it mulitplatform.
no one will be complaining about how expensive it is. I doubt that we will see an immediate impact but in a couple of years we will see it for sure.
dream that. But as for a major console release, I'll believe it when I see it. The DS game(s) Rare made were an exception to the rules of the industry but they weren't THE exception to the gaming world. If the game is going to be huge then MS and Nintendo will be less likely to work with each other on it.
was to make a game that has anything to do with Bond, they would have to get authorization from Sony first. Sony owns the rights to the movies and I believe that extends to the videogame land also. I don't know if I'd trust Rare to make another FPS after that crap of a game called Perfect Dark Zero.
because we all know developers get paid when you rent their games. Stupid!
