I know that some of the PS3's exclusive games don't seem to shine as brightly as the 360's last year but give a few a try. My recommendations are as follows.
PSN:
1.Tekken 5: Dark Resurrection- if you like fighting games, this is the best and the online adds hours of freaking fun.
2.Everyday Shooter: Crazy fun to zone out to. Play like no other game.
3.Flow: Same as above. Its not a game you really beat. You experience it.
Retail:
1.Uncharted- Stupid...
convince me to try it out. I think the new one looks midly interesting also.
if I have the time. I have two games, DMC 4 and Folklore to play. Once I finish those two I may get Lost Planet. The LOST game doesn't seem too exciting although I love the show to death. If Haze comes soon, that will take preference over LP though.
EA should keep its hands off real game makers. They are becoming the MS of the gaming industry. They buy up everything and turn it to crap.
Sony needs to stop doing that to us. I can't take anymore of this teasing stuff. I want to know, who is working on what.
I wish Phil the best of luck. I hope the person who replaces Kaz, who got his job, has as much passion for the game as he did.
Sony heard our calls for Split screen this time. This game will look fantastic and will finally have everything we needed in a the first one.
well well, look who's just guessing on titles now. There goes that magazines credibility.
I don't think that one title can save the 360 this year. I know that there are a few other games that may sell well but you have to say Sony has a much better line up. Gears will suffice the people who already have the 360 but it won't prolly sell more and thats the key right now.
holds true than the next game on my must get list is...........HAZE!
I was hoping that MGS4 would come sooner but no matter, I will have it day one whenever it drops.
comments. I can't read the stories while I'm at work so I read some responses to find out what was said and gauge my reaction from it. I have been on N4G for quite a while and there are always certain people I look to for real constructive comments, other I may peruse.
ripples through the indusry for years to come, wether thats good or bad is yet to be seen. I mean without the XBLA and the PSN store would we ever have seen titles like Flow or or Everyday Shooter? I don't know. I do fear that some of the larger publishers will turn their backs on their core audience to go after the quick cheap money. If some of the "hardcore" games get shortcutted because devs are being pulled to work on cheap casual titles the industry will eventually eat itself ...
patiently, this is going to be epic!
Im actually calling to have my Boss's sons 360 sent back today for RROD repair. Just despicable.
I don't see what the appeal of even more stuff to do in open world games is. I want a game that I don't have to bleed to try and beat. I played GTA on the original Playstation and a bit of the second, by the third I was over it. Its all too big and too much.
first, if this were true, MS would go around touting it from now til Christmas. Second, if its being handled by Rare, would you want the guys who made one of the worst launch titles (PD:0) in video game history messing with a classic? I'm calling BS on this one and if it is true, God save us. I'll stick with proven shooters.
game but it looks like a Resident Evil or D type of game. I'll wait for Resident 5 if that be the case.
go lick your wounds. Blu-ray will be here when you get done with that. Besides, theres plenty of people who are making BD players right now anyway.
the devs and Sony should do with Home. Devs should offer demos of they're games in Home like they have but if it has MP they should have a MP demo also. Then should someone like the game, Home should have an option to buy the game and have it sent to the credit card's adress that you bought it with. This would allow publishers to be able to directly sell to gamers and gamers wouldn't even have to leave their couch. The movie companies should do this also with Home. Rent the movie or get an ex...
6 months and then it will come out on the PS3. Either that or Namco is trying to show the 360 some love since they sure as hell won't be getting Tekken anytime soon. They'll do the same thing they did with Trust Bell.
