I don't have a short memory. I still do not trust Microsoft with anything gaming anymore. I gave up after the original Xbox. I'm glad I skipped the 360 last gen. Now after all the flip flops like Kerry's campaign I don't feel even the slightest inclination towards Microsoft this gen.
Maybe next gen, if there is a next box, I will consider them. But I will be judging them with much more scrutiny than now.

Once again the problem with the cloud is your internet connection. Unless you pay upwards of 100-220 dollars a month to your isp then everything the cloud can do your internet connection can't do.

Edit: on PS3 currently we are able to export game data, game cores, game saves, game related media, and even profile data on any available external medium such as hard drives, soft drives(clouds), solid state drives, and flash drives.
Instead Microsoft ties in your account to a single cloud. Why is it bad to have information stored on just one device?

@need4game: I disagree. Remember the PS2 launch? They had to air freight in shipments (very expensive method) to meet early demand.
I wonder just how long they have had to produce units because I don't see the PS4 having more than 250 units per store on day one in major cities. Maybe even considerably less in low populated areas. I'm not bashing the PS4 it is just a well known fact. Not even Microsoft could do the same.

Both services offer the games for free download for a limited time. PS+ offered a lot of high quality games this past year which I have kept on my download list. XBLGG have only seen a few games so far and you keep them forever until your 360 gets an RROD. To which then you lose the games.(* more info for this at bottom)

My problem with this is the variance of people you play with. I'd like to mix and match because you need some good players mixed up with some bad players. If you have one team of really good players versus another for more than 2 matches they end up quitting. Imagine trying to find another match only to find yourself amongst the same players every time. After a while you'd get complacent with the players.
