I had to reply to this one.

1. Look up LifeLine on the PS2. And a conversation requires intellect, not glossary match ups to do a command.

2. He is talking about the disruption in motion capture when more than one human is in view, not how ridiculous you look when you play the game yourself.

As for Ubisoft's game... PS2 did the exact same thing with the eye toy. Sorry, but I have to point out the obvious.

3. True. But sad...

Beggars can't be choosers. Like everyone keeps saying: Sony's EULA states that they are not obligated to give you anything yet they are. If you bought all of the games in the list then don't be mad. "WAH WAH WAH I WANT MORE MORE MORE!"

**** the people on XBOX Live didn't even get a choice on their compensation. They all received the same game. People who already owned it got their money back. SO WHAT. It was one game, not two and definitely NOT from ...

Am I the only person with 6 master accounts? And with each having a lot of sub accounts? I made a lot of them. I made one for Australia, UK, Japan, Ireland, Mexico, and my main one. I wanted to see if certain places got content early but then back in 07-08 they restricted people from buying stuff on PSN out of their own country.

With all my sub accounts... I have like 20 some odd accounts. I used to write my own journalism and sent it to a few hundred people back in the day. ...

None of this would have happened if the childish George Hotz didn't act like such a kid about the whole thing. Sony should have been creating a new way to keep things secure.

But you have to accept the fact that making your console so open to a different OS would leave it prone to hacking.

Besides Linux on the PS3 is mostly useless. You are locked out of RSX. Running YDL on the PS3 was as much fun as running it on a Mac. Don't kid yourself into saying...

It came up just last night. Looks like the Play Station owners are getting pissed and just might retaliate.

If you really want the PS3 to become the PSP then keep hacking. All you are doing is driving away developers. I don't care what your intentions are. Do it the honorable way WITHOUT HACKING ANYTHING! The next step is for Sony to merge with Steam. Then you are all going to hate having your PS3 connected to the internet, AT ALL TIMES, just to play your games.

So STOP HACKING THE PS3. Unless you want to lose EVERYTHING YOU OWN.

Yes never forget.... I wonder how that image was even drawn... HOW COULD THEY! Those heartless insensitive business suits! WE MUST DESTROY NINTENDO FOR BUILDING UPON OUR GROUND ZERO IMAGES! WHOSE WITH ME? 3DS BON FIRE AT GROUND ZERO!!!

Let's take a look at other devices that have launched just barely last year. iPad. Come on that thing is the BIGGEST waste of money and it is currently 400 dollars AND ABOVE. You are lucky if you get one for 400 without any scratches. I am sorry but even if the NGP costed 500 dollars believe it or not people will buy it. If the iPad only reads books, has casual games, and can view photos as its main features the NGP will have no trouble living in such an environment.

Day ...

The lady in this video seriously needs to be B**** slapped! SHUT THE F*** UP LADY!

Otherwise this would have been the most awesome video so far for the NGP.

360 only sells well in the US. All other countries you listed the PS3 has been ahead of the 360 for a year and a half now.

Long answer: Look at the PlayStation 2 Eye toy. Look at how far it got with "no controller gaming." This outdated technology stood the test of time but not the test of aesthetics. Development teams back in the early 2000's didn't like this technology in the sense that recreating a game with motion controls is much harder than free form movement. What was once a simple punch turned into reading, comprehension, rendering and display instead of just the last two.

Nice spin. Not only do people ignore the Eye Toy but they poke fun at it too. Bottom line: Casual Conformity is not the answer Microsoft.

I just wonder how long it will take for Microsoft to come to the same realization that both Sony and Nintendo came to about 6 years ago. "No controller" gaming just isn't aesthetic or comfortable.

Funny how GT is quick to come up with an article to a video that speaks for itself. Spin it as much as you like but the main fact in the very video remains: Microsoft is going down a road that Sony has already treaded. After their 50 million dollars of advertising has finally gone dry they too will realize that us gamers need BUTTONS.

Sony started this whole motion capture idea back in 1999 and it never took off because developers did not see anything in it. Wii Capitalized o...

What did Sony copy from Microsoft? As far as I am concerned Sony copied Nintendo more than anything. Microsoft copied Sony. Get it right man. Eye toy has been out since 1999. There are many Eye Toy games that exist on the platform and yet some of them Microsoft has already taken a copy and paste function to. Even their premier demo for the ball breakout game was a copy and paste from one of Sony's tech demo's from 2001.

I agree with Chubear. The new age gamers have NO...

I find it funny how Sony can release an interview some 24 hours after a representative from Microsoft tries to make a spin on the gamer telling us that we create lag. Then in this very video you can see some lag in the early tech demo's for Move which are not present in any final product such as Eye Pet. Yet in Microsoft's world people are already complaining about the lag.

But the main fact remains: No controller gaming is just not comfortable. In the very video show...

Nothing wrong with showing people how to navigate through menus. But I would love to see the "How to find the 'How-to' videos" video. I just hope it includes "How to power on the PS3" and "How to power on the controller."

I can say there is still an amount of lag that I can not get over. With games like DDR only have four huge foot buttons I am able to keep my rhythm with the game. Kinect's version of this was like trying to dance in a pool of water. I had the moves down to a tee and yet I still did not get 100 percent. Watching other individuals play other games I noticed the lag between the input and the output and it is still noticeable. They can spin this as much as they would like to but it still rema...
