If you want the gamers respect instead, don't make a movie.
Their next game should have a feature to enable VR first person mode.
It will be like playing two different games. The old school fixed camera angles and the brand new horrific VR experience.
@ moldybread - You know there is something wrong with the XBox1 sales when you compare them to the numbers of a $599 console that was released more than 10 years ago and a handheld device like the Vita. Don't try to spin it around, XB1 numbers should be compared to PS4 numbers.
What if I tell you that No Man's Sky will simulate an entire cloud based Universe. That to me is already years ahead of a destructible arena. Because, as you may know already, CrackDown's multiplayer is not open world.

A smart move from Sony could be adding 1 Free VR game with PSN+.
This will achieve 3 different goals.
1) Add value to the PSN+ service.
2) Increment the hardware sales for their VR headset.
3) Differentiate PSN+ from XBox Gold and other services.
The DS4 regularly comes on top of the XB1 controller in hardware comparisons. Don't fall for the obvious bait.
I will really like to talk to that guy and ask him why they decided not to run a KickStarter. I mean, they had the only thing that is really needed for a KS campaign: Hype. I know a lot of the backers will end up being disappointed, but at least the developer team wouldn't be in financial troubles. Is there any true advantage on releasing directly on Steam?
The Witcher 3 is my GOTY for 2015, followed very close by BloodBorne and Metal Gear V. Play it, you will learn to love Gwent.

A good game is a good game period, and you shouldn't be able to say that you beat a game if you haven't acquired all the achievements or Platinum the game. I have the Platinum for both. And I can assure you that The Witcher 3 is NOT an easy game to %100.
I believe the next step to follow for the Until Dawn series is to enable first person view. Yes, let the players play in the regular third person view, but also add VR support for the first person view.
Edit: This will add more re-playability and will make the jump scares even more effective.
