I only wish I had more time. Developers should make games so hard to Platinum, I want to play them all :(
"The game is so fast paced and requires such reflexes that it’s not playable at 30fps" Hence, no XB1 version.
That's a little harsh if you ask me.
They should do what other developers are doing and simply lower the resolution a little to maintain the frame rate. The problem is the time that will require for a small studio to hit the right resolution/frame rate ration on another platform.
The Last of Us, the most efficient opening to a game I have ever played. Actually, if you think about it, The Last of Us opening transcends the video game realm, and can go against any other type of media. I hope the actually movie doesn't suck once released.
@Satyre28 You can use the 60fps argument, but lets be honest, any game can run @60. The reason why certain games can't reach this mark its because of the assets used in the game. If you sacrifice the quality of the visuals, you can even hit 100+ fps on consoles.

Lets be honest here, If Uncharted 4 was on the XB1, it will probably be 900p for Single player and 720p for Multiplayer.

I really hope they don't make the same mistake they did with Beyond.
I didn't enjoy the super soldier sections of the game because it felt forced. We don't need action scenes just for the sake of making the game more "interactive".
They need to stay true to their story telling nature.
PS3 was able to surpass the 360 thanks to Sony's dedicated developers and exclusive franchises.
Microsoft does not have that, sure they own some franchises, but not at the same level as Sony and Nintendo. If anything, a Nintendo NX done right could easily be the next PS4 contender.

To my surprise, they are not including PS Now titles. The list is made of PS4 games only.
And before somebody comes with the "Quality over Quantity" statement. The PS4 has more games rated 90+ than the XB1 and the WiU combined.

Release a tool that lets you create PS4 themes, share them with friends and upload them to PSN.
Yeah, like the game "Dreams" but for PS4 themes creation instead.
If Sony is scared of losing revenue with this feature, they can allow users to sell their creations for $1 and share the earnings 50/50
Or maybe because Microsoft unified their gaming division with PC, phones, surface tablets and XBox?
While Sony only reports PlayStation sales?
What if Sony decided to include their movies revenue as "Software sales".
Trust me, Microsoft inflates their numbers.

They are trying to go the way of "call of Duty" in which we get Modern Warfare one year and Black Ops the next one.
They will milk Halo's single player quality to death, and fans will buy their yearly copy without questioning.

I will love to dare the writer of this article to tell me the names of the protagonists and secondary characters of the Tomb Raider games.
There are more elements to a game than just platforming and shooting done properly. Both games excel at the gameplay department.
But only one of them is an automatic GOTY contender.
