Yeah I totally get where you’re coming from man. The problem is they need to cater to people that don’t have high end TVs and those that get motion sickness from 30fps. Options are always good but I have to agree that they should have just prioritized the performance RT mode and pushed it to the absolute max. But who knows, they probably did. Performance RT is the way to go! Enjoy the game!

I’m starting to think that this generation will be much different from last gen. With so much focus on last gen consoles when it comes to game development (makes sense financially and reputation wise) we probably won’t see mid gen upgrades. By the time PS5 is the primary focus and PS4 starts getting left behind developers will definitely start taking full advantage and design games around the much superior hardware. Therefore we will reach a point (probably 3 years)...

Yeah sorry mate. I would love it on console too but it’s way too hardcore. You literally need a Tarkov education before you can even start playing. Plus it’s already pretty hard on top end PCs. To top that off no way this game can be played without a keyboard and mouse.

Does anyone know what the proper audio settings are for Resident Evil Village on PS5? I want to take full advantage of the tempest 3D audio but it’s confusing as heck. I have 3D audio turned on in the system settings but then what do you set for in game settings? There’s the 3 output modes, tv, surround sound and headphones, then beneath that there is a virtual surround sound toggle.

BFVI is most definitely one of my most anticipated games of 2021! I really hope it features cross-play and coop campaign options!
Dang! That’s awesome! Wish I had a series x to play BFV. Been playing it on PS5 which runs smooth but a doubling of the refresh rate would be glorious! Hope Sony can off something like this in the future.

IMHO Battle Royal should be its own thing/game. I’m tired of always seeing major games that have been around for years trying to implement it as a game mode. Games like PUBG and APEX are here to stay but not everyone multiplayer game needs BR...cough bf6.. cough.
Based on the quote in the article it seems there will be 3 modes. “Quality” with Ray tracing, “Performance” with 60FPS and “4K” with native resolution.

Man seriously. Watching tv is arguably considerably worse for your brain as it takes little to no cognitive function to consume. Unless it’s a historically accurate or crime series with a touch of mystery or something. My wife gets frustrated with me because if I have free time I game, can’t be bothered to watch many tv shows.

I think you should be proud of your collection! I’m a bit of a collector my self but more for 7th generation and older. If anything I would consolidate your things, pack them up to maintain preservation and put them in storage. If you can afford the hobby and you enjoy it then I say keep going with it. Maybe build some kind of detached office/gaming space in your backyard.

Man I’m torn! I already played and throughly enjoyed this game on Xbox One X but I want to replay it on my PS5! That means rebuying the game and starting from scratch, but damn these enhancements and the Dualsense functions looks fantastic. Hmm.
