more than just slightly if we're talking about graphic output.
NO. the kinect wasnt taking up any of the missing GPU cores, which is the reason why the xbox cannot match the ps4, ever. when your bottleneck is in the GPU and memory speed, having a slightly faster CPU doesnt mean anything. if a game is being bottlenecked by the CPU, the xbox might have a slight advantage, assuming some clever programming cant be done to offload some of the CPU items to the extra GPU cores the PS4 has over the xb1.
kstap,
im interested in bloodborn and i didnt really care about the PS3 games. and it feels like im far from alone.
i dont hate MS or XBOX, but this generation has been painful to watch. MS released a product that nobody should want, and is trying like hell to make people want it. Meanwhile everything hasn't been perfect over at sony, where driveclub had a really rough launch(though its a great game now). Both systems have been releasing games we literally already played on previous systems. It is cringeworthy. I really hope this year really shines. I have a lot of hope placed in the project morpheus, ...
xbox announced its terrible hand, got laughed out of poker night, showed up late with a re-shuffled deck, bought everyone drinks to try to be seen as cool again, and is now just a weird, drunk, confused guy that needs to go home to his wife and kids.
i take it you haven't actually played the game then, troll. the cars look the same mid-race as well.
no offense to the devs, but that looks awful. Not the graphics, those are dandy. The twitchy steering looks dreadful. The car rolls too much with small steering inputs. major letdown. i was kind of hoping this could be a good hold over until gt7.
killzone IS 1080p. jackass.
well, they didn't bother to actually compare it to anything. We're supposed to assume its a lot, but who knows how often GT6 updates certain calculations? Forza? I think it's meant to be a positive thing, but his tweet that this site somehow sees as news lacks context entirely.
people seem to not understand this really simple fact. haha
Well, admittedly I haven't played project cars. That's why I said looked. I might really enjoy it. But for me, at this time, it looks boring and weird.
i found the 60fps to be somewhat off-putting. maybe because it makes the lower quality backgrounds and weather effects really stand out. but maybe because it makes it look more like a video game.
as a die hard GT fan, who has many friends that tell me GT is boring, Project Cars looks boring to me.
i dont know if id go THAT far..but i prefer johnny cage to both
i wonder if they're going to have skorpion?
if you play the co-op for any length of time, you will notice that farcry is another instance where ubisoft just failed to do proper qa. there are bugs EVERYWHERE. its also wildly inconsistent graphically. its really weird. sometimes i have a wonderful time in the co-op, other times i find myself frustrated. its a good game, but not THAT good. also, the tone of the game is confusing. i cant tell if its serious or a comedy or what. its odd. voice overs are super annoying. why are honey badgers...
it has in-game music and a really slick UI. what are you talking about?
the thing is, when you play driveclub, its incredibly smooth. I dont really see how 60fps could be advantageous to that game. need for speed paradise runs at 60fps, and in no way does it benefit the experience. films generally run at an even lower 24fps, are we now going to say casablanca is a bad film and broken because it isnt in 4k@48hz? no. your argument is invalid, close minded, and ignorant.
the problem with titanfall was that the bots were thrown in competitive mode, and were stupid. we all know what they were TRYING to do, but the execution wasnt there. I played it on the PC and kind of hated it because of that.
its actually the one thing keeping me away from the game. if it was set up in its own universe, id be totally on board.
