Aw jeez, not this shit again. There's no such thing. Hardcore is a term used by elitists in attempt to feel accepted among their peers.
"As professional gamers..." LOL
I find it funny in a disturbing kind of way. To me, at least.
Get LBP2 and wait for someone to create Mass Effect 2 within the game engine.
Let's put the boring numbers aside for a second. Does anyone actually care about the GAMES anymore? Forgive me for asking, but the 360 (short od Kinect titles) really doesn't have anything worth mentioning in 2011 besides a handful of games, does it?
I fail to see how it's a rant, in any shape or form.
There's none of those this time around. Mm deliberately removed trophies where you reach a certain height, speed etc as too many people were making these levels and making them easy to achieve.
You raise good points. As for your last question, who the hell knows. This is exactly my point when writing the article. so many factors are left unknown that people really don't know what the hell they're talking about when they begin to reel off numbers.
Like I've said on many other discussions - to parody a popular game..
Gaming... has changed. It's no longer about the games, or the experiences. It's an endless series of fanboy wars, sales figu...
Yes. If a game sells so poorly that it doesn't reach the revenue in order to make a sequel - that's sad.
But I truly find it hard to believe that despite how 'bad' a game may sell, if the game is genuinely good and gets enough positive praise, word of mouth will spread and despite poor sales, I'm sure the funds for a sequel will be there.
"the ONLY sale I care about is MY SALE."
That about sums up my entire thoughts on the matter. Well said.
Completely agree. Although do you include ranting about people talking sales in your statement?
Sega KNOW people want a Shenmue 3, I don't doubt for one second that they simply 'cannot afford it' I do see what you're saying, but I'd still have to disagree.
It's more than likely that Sega have enough money to fund the game, the reasons for them not making it already are probably still unknown. That being said, I'm sure it will happen one day.
What a terrible article. Just two main 'awards' and four honorable mentions.
There's no doubt that the focus was on the story moreso than the game itself, but who the fuck cares? It was a great story. For those complaining it was too short, stfu. I'd rather play a shorter more badass game than a lengthy game that just doesn't deliver on any level.
LMAO that's some reaction!
Anyone else enjoying this game? Also, when's the PS3/iPad version coming out?
Thank you, JL, in altering the post.
If you mean Resident Evil 5 did a good job at killing the survival horror then abso-fuckin-lutely. Come to think about it, RE4 did that pretty good, too.
Bold article, I like it.
I wrote an article on the same subject:
