New GTA with LA Noire engine would be awesome!
This means it's a better game? Wow....
Crysis 2 is a fun and conventional shooter. It looks stunning, sounds stunning, but it's gunplay is average at best. The absolutely dreadful AI takes away from the little challenge the game had to begin with - making it incredibly easy. No challenge, no fun. It is nice however, to see a game with a lengthier than normal campaign.
I've never had to fix my games as I've yet to own a scratched disk.
"Crytek’s latest prove that a PC game doesn’t have to be limited by having console brethren?"
But...it IS limited.
Stupid AI, simplified shooting mechanics, run of the mill multiplayer, game is too easy.
...BUT, it is still a fun game to play.
Despite it's flaws, it's still a fun game - and with all the DLC being bundled onto the disk for a budget price of $29.99, it's an offer you can't refuse!
Excuse me, but Killzone 3 has nothing to do with this article or conversation. For the record, both are great games. Crytek did a good job with the Playstation 3 version of Crysis 2. Much better than I originally thought they would. If anything, it's the PC version that was gimped.
Gearbox are awesome. Made some decent Half Life mods, the Brothers in Arms series as well as Borderlands.
"Lengthy Campaign and Relevant Side-Quests"
This could have been a quote from a review on the original Deus Ex. Can NOT wait!
What a terrible question. Yes, we do. We need more fun non-serious games to lighten the mood in a pretty dull, stale and uncreative genre. Duke Nukem has always been a series that on one hand is completely ludicrous, and so bad that it's just awesome, or solid shooters that are decent solid titles by their own rights. These games always have me grinning from beginning to end. His male chauvinism, his machismo, adolescent, cheesy and sexist nature and one liners make it impossible to miss ...
Oh I am, the game is really fun - albeit rather watered down compared to it's predecessor. The online component has a ton of bugs as far as logging in goes, but still - when you do finally get in a game, it's rather good.
This time? I thought Far Cry and Crysis were fully fledged titles that were great games by their own merits.
Oh I agree to an extent. MGS is my most beloved series of all time and consider MGS4 to be the best game I've ever played. I guess I just fear that new sequels have the chance of ruining a perfectly 'solid' series. There's areas of the saga that haven't been explored, but do we really need to know absolutely everything? The story is complex enough as it is. I think I'd just rather see Kojima work on a new IP or the return of some older IP's that aren't Metal Ge...
I can't believe how many people here are missing the point. My work schedule is structured in such a way whereby I'm awake all night and sleeping most of the day. I purchase most of my games at Walmart at midnight because I know it will be a long while before I'm able to play it otherwise. I shouldn't be penalized for this by being forced to wait. And if you insist on a release date check, then do it for the console versions, too.
Please no more MGS. MGS4 concluded a 20 year saga wonderfully. Please don't feel the need to milk the series further. Just let it go and move onto another new IP.
I've only heard of Steam games that do not unlock during morning. Never retail games, although I could be wrong.
Completely missing the point...
What a shit site and 'review'.
Isn't this kinda old news? And I got mine from the store for $5.99, not $9.99
The difference is outstanding between the games, and not just the facial mocap either.
