Meh video wasn't worth the click...it's just batman slamming some guy off a building but the knocked out animation remains the same.
Looking really good:D
They go Back to school and learn how to optimize their games.
In all seriousness I'd love to see them tackle on Iron man.
I would love to see a good Iron Man game for once, it has soo much potential.
It's not quite that simple, the architecture is still different, and they still need to emulate the environment well otherwise you will have frame problems or artifacts.
I mean our PCs are X64 (backwards compatible with X86), yet Xbox emulation is still extremely buggy.
When ever your dealing with hardware that isn't 100% exactly the same as the original you will always have to emulate/Virtual Machine the other software.
This is what I'm waiting for lol.
If they do original Xbox I'll grab this system in a heart beat.
Shenmue 2
Simpsons Hit and run
Black
Many more
so many classics!
Most likely Sony prefers to handle Physical copies or prefer's to cash in as much as possible through PSN only.
Or
So this way if you really want a physical copy you are forced to purchase both if you also want to pledge.
Unfortunately it might not happen but you never know.
Are there plans for the HD versions of Shenmue 1 & 2?
The property rights for Shenmue 1 and Shenmue 2 belong to SEGA, so we are not in a position to comment on that.
Kickstarter FAQ.
I hope Sega releases it at least
I hope he gets it, one of the most creative ways to purchase a game.
I have a feeling his signed copy of Fallout 4 will be making it's way to his house on launch :)
Same, I backed 100 lol
What pass? It's one of the game's iconic game play features...would u hold it against God of war?
I don't get this "pass" because it's Shenmue.
@ShinMaster
That's perfect...in a way. I Agree you cannot hold something against a game that made some of its foundations on certain characteristics.
Story, QTE and fully voiced characters are some of the trademarks that make this game great.
Can you hate Shenmue for being able to life objects and look at them, then blame them for Order 1886's similar idea?
Reminds me of donkey kong country 3 mixed with Spyro lol
+bubble for you
Ok this is probably Dead or alive Physics not real world physics.
lol Funny though!
@Isashi
That's exactly my point, we're limited by the market and technology we have.
If we made every game look as good as it can, you would need to buy stronger hardware...especially since most games lack optimization lately.
@Fries
Actually it was almost 9 years ago. Which would not have been possible on the PS3/360 at the time.
Also the rain is one of the main effects of the video, which is what the point was, but if u pay close attention also note that there is a lot of is now known as tessellation, which was never around back then and is now in a lot of the new graphic engines.
Also note, high textures, shading and detail...Other than the slightly lower detail...
You do realize graphics and engines have to start somewhere? Also showcasing the capacity of the engine could raise interest in third party development.
The problem is, the engine to pump out this much detail would only be good to enthusiasts at this point.
This could not be done on ps4/Xbox one or some of the mainstream PCs.
If people look back even 10 years ago you could see tech demos doing amazing graphics that even today look amazing. <...
Everyone is entitled to their opinion...I don't understand why you need to police people on n4g...it's not like this is Rockstar's website and he is trying to be jerk...he's just stating both facts and opinion.
It's a very shady process, and I personally don't agree with it but I cannot blame Rockstar for capitalizing on their success.
To be fair, the game is fairly new and I'm sure it will piss off early adopters who paid retail.
Also the game is soo successful that most likely those who wanted it already have it, and others will continue to wait.
I don't agree with these tactics, but they have the right to do anything they want with their game.
IF you guys navigate to the Top Sellers on Steam, the game is still selling like hot cakes!
I replay Journey on rainy days, days where I'm sad or even days I'm happy that game is amazing and just blissful.
I don't understand why I love it so much, but I do.
This and Shenmue are the 2 games that are the most memorable in my gaming lifetime:)
