I agree with all except Donkey Kong Country 3DS. That was a garbage game on the 3Ds console. 30 fps? and sometimes not even that. Pass
You're much better off getting the Wii version which plays at 60 fps, now that was an amazing game.
The original Donkey Kong Country VC is a much better choice on the portable device.
1000$? Have you seen PC prices lately? You can get a decent gamer for 500$. Also every PC has at least 1 computer, which like hoffmann stated, is upgradable.
And if you bothered to read up on emulation and the Wii.U architecture, you'd be surprised to know that it's a very Weak system when compared to modern PCs.
All current Gen consoles when released were still years behind PCs in terms of raw power.

You do know that CD copiers were the same situations? Digital distribution was mostly pirate only now it's a main way to get our movies.
Everything has it's goods and it's bad usages. This was created as a proof of concept and a way where users can play region locked games and backups.

That comment about TV upscales is so wrong you don't even know the difference between a TV upscale (image stretching) and emulation (additional polygons)

This isn't about piracy, it's about proof of concept and trust me when this emulator is perfected you can run it on a very weak PC. It's not yet optimized.
Don't forget the Wii.U still runs powerPC, a very dated and little used architecture...
They said the map editor is very powerful, you can even change properties and functionality for certain enemies and objects, so maybe we'll see community fan maps that require coop.
Halo CE perfected Quake and UT? They are completely different style...Halo CE was nowhere near as hectic and intense as Unreal tournmant or Quake 3.
Halo CE was closer to original Doom with a modern Twist, while this looks more like Quake 2/3

I wanted a complete remaster :( I know we got them for GBA but I would have loved to see the original in the new 3D world.
And yes Nintendo def knows their cash grabs, but to be fair compared to a lot of cash grabs at least their game quality is really good.
The only thing I wish is that they work on their emulation...it's a little buggy and has artifacts.

I think Games should allow you to choose your gender. Also I don't think we need to put so much pressure on Gender in games to begin with.
We put racism, sexism and many other "isms" up on a pedestal. I do think we spend more time complaining about games than we do playing them lately.

Half of those games are fillers to reach 13 ( I don't mean it the way it sounds). I personally love to always own at least one nintnedo console...mostly for nostalgia and quality games.
Anyways, like for like, game quality for Nintedo games tend to be much more stable and well done than any of the console games...but this mostly stands for 3rd party titles. In terms of first party all consoles have their strengths.
