Just get me a complete review already.... I so want this game to be great!
Being an avid fan of owning disks. I will say that the convenience of downloading is more and more appealing as I do it. I love the fact that we will be able to pre-load on our ps4's (can't wait for this to be implemented on my xb1 as well). Gamestop better find something else to sale, because this will sting.....
How is this even debatable????
All this sounds exciting.... despite what some or most may feel, is it really that challenging to even assume the ms (the makers of software/pc's/DX)would incorporate tech into the xb1 that will harness the capabilities of DX 12??? It's theirs.....
Customer feed back/sales are exactly the same (there is no difference no matter how it's spinned).... This is the number reason for the slower sales of the xb1 ($100 difference is a huge handicap when fighting for top console spot).
To even try to debate pc vs consoles is laughable... A gen 4 ps, and a gen 3 xb will not touch near infinite gen of pc... Let's stick to the yard they are meant to play in (generation over last)..
Customers/gamers speak with money....
Most slammed ms for initial plans... They are wrong, they need to change this/that, they don't care, or want to listen to the gamers, etc, etc, etc. Every time they adjusted, it is followed by They should have stayed with their vision, they cave in to what the gamers want to easily, there were actually good things about said ideas, etc, etc. Where were all the highlighting supportive articles in the beginning til now??? Their changes have been directly tied into the gamers feed back, b...
Sony gamers are buying the eye toy as well (or is it sony casual gamers)?
It will be just fine... There are a lot of opinions on here which is fantastic. Mines is this, The xb1/ps4 landscapes were set up to be the same (both) were set to begin this gen as a full feature unit (ms/kinect, ps4/eye toy), which from my P.O.V. indicated more of the same vision... Kinect became to crutch only after sony decided to remove their cam in order to launch cheaper... Both consoles launching at $499.00 with additional tech would probably be much different atmosphere right now.. ...
Decoupling the eye toy from the ps4 before launching it, is what set this change in motion.....
This change was made because ultimately a category of gamers (lack of sales), expressed time, and time again, that the option to buy, will be the only way to buy. Kinect will no doubt be supported (this is the correct way). IMHO,when sony decided to remove the eye toy at the last minute to drop price (that's when ms should have done it), because it changed the meaning of both systems.... I would have loved to see the original packages launch the same way. What would the major feed back be...
If it's about the core gamer, then vr tech should fall waste side (especially at E3), because the core gamer don't want add ons... That's why sony decoupled the eye toy right before launch, and ms just announced decoupling of kinect...
If this is the case, all companies have attitude problems (please stop it)... Kinect was separated because a lot of gamers expressed the need for option to buy (don't think ms wanted to do it). They get attacked for: including it, for removing it, for their vision, for not sticking to their vision no matter what gamers say. They were forced to remove because sony is selling more, but didn't remove bec...
This was a necessary move.. As most sites show, there is quite a lot of feed back from a large group of gamers who have said time and time again that they don't want to be forced to own kinect, and that is there biggest reason for not owning. To get a chance at the undecided, the better business decision had to be made. Now the option is restored..... What's next, all the articles that showed ms was wrong to force their vision on gamers, are now going to say that ms should have stuck...
Those maps look great. They need to drop already!
Sick, sick, sick!!! One of the best trailers I've seen!
No doubt it will have the looks, but I really want to know more about the content....
This looks very, very interesting.. I think I will have to give it a try.
This had to come at some point. Quality infrastructures cost money to support. Last gen sony leveraged free online vs ms pay for service, but now we are on the door of the full digital gaming age, and If sony wants to fully compete they have to get their network in order. Paying for xbox live wasn't just to play games online, it was to help fund their full network infrastructure which is one of the biggest available.
