My main reason for purchasing new console is because of the continued/new content. Graphics are now at levels of which you are ok with not going next gen until they are no longer making great games for last gen. My move forward is always based on constants....

Useless segment due to the fact that both MS/sony are pc makers. Consoles are category driven, and are tailored to a price sector. The compensation is to give great gaming machines, at affordable prices (which will always be with yester-year tech). Can both companies make a console that truly blur the lines, yes, but it won't be in the 400 to 600 range...

IMHO, this devise will be heavily attatched to the Sony TV division (bundled). They are hurting horribly there (already dropping the OLED development), and sticking with LCD. It can really help there... It's going to be a cool product for some...
Ms reveal is currently ps4's system sellar.... As time moves on, it will line itself up correctly, and the decisions will fall in favor of quality of content... The way things are shaping up, I personally don't see a reason not to own anyone of them (just me),that's why I have them all. While some gamers are debating, doing research for console sales, being myth busters, I am simply looking forward to playing the killer exclusive content that all 3 are providing, and will continu...
Yep (MS had it right).. At the end of this road is subscription rental services.. Why buy a game, finish it or not, and sell it back for a loss, when you can rent it, and move on (think gamefly/psnow, and whatever service ms has in store) The core data for this upcoming transition, was always through the sell back programs... The hatred for a company (MS) is what was the deciding factor... If the majority who felt/feel whole heartedly about the online/drm/disks would not support this meth...
The appeal of gaming is being lost. The numbers behind the game never needed to be used as marketing (bad poison). Now instead of looking at amazing games and saying damn I want to play that, we are looking at the code. I don't know about you, but I like living in the matrix... I don't know how they saw Neo getting up from being shot, and whooping ass just by looking at those numbers.....

Great to hear. There was tons of feed back wanting this option in order to buy now. Hopefully it holds true to form. Both XB1, and Ps4 are awesome consoles.. Totally worth owning both if you can!!!
Nintendo A (great content/refreshing) MS A- (content was flowing so smoothly that I wanted it to continue) Sony B- (TV service feature hurt some what) All in all, I have A lot to look forward to for all 3 consoles (Great stuff coming/I am going to be broke).

This is what got me most yesterday! 4 originals, 4 remasters, 100 maps, 4000 achievement points, create a playlist, dedicated servers, beta to Halo 5, Halo TV series for $60!!! That is what I am talking about!!!
