That was never going to be the case. Sony said that Premium would have 340 PS3, PS2, and PS1 games. There are like 400 PS3 games alone on PS Now right now so it was obvious some of them weren't going to carry over.
Agreed. It's a very solid game that I'm happy finally made its way over to PSVR.
Multiple people from the studio along with Jason from Bloomberg have said the game is coming this year. Even today they had people at the studio saying that. You do realize God of War 2018 didn't have a date or much marketing until 3 months prior to launch right? Plenty of time to ramp things up in June and launch in the fall.
@RaidenBlack Elden Ring isn't a shoe-in for GOTY if both God of War Ragnarok and Starfield release.
There was no way this game was coming this Holiday when they already have Pokemon, Xenoblade 3, Bayonetta 3 and probably 1 or 2 other things they haven't announced yet. It was too busy for them to launch Zelda as well.
Isn't the fact that they mentioned the higher tier having God of War redundant since it's already in the PS+ Collection in the basic tier? Thought that was really silly.
Considering said site put up an article complaining about not getting a code and has a history of giving PlayStation games scores well below everyone else I think it's fair to throw water at them. PlayStation stopped working with them for a reason. Probably because if you read their reviews for the games that they were given they came off as really poor and complained about dumb stuff just to mark the game down.
The reviewer is mad that Sony is ignoring their requests for review copies. No surprise that they would be one of the lower scores for the game.
Yeah or they'll do a really positive one to try and get back good with them.
Horizon Zero Dawn from Edge - 9/10
Horizon Forbidden West which pretty much improved everything from the first game from Edge - 7/10
Yeah seems about right. In no world is Forbidden West the same score as a game like Dying Light 2 and R6 Extraction.
I always find it odd that a game can win no other award but then comes in at the end of the show to win GOTY. It Takes Two won the final two awards and nothing else. Like you weren't the best music, audio, graphics, action, adventure, family, etc but somehow you're the overall GOTY.
It's only going to continue for how long games continue to be on both platforms. The only reason they made it a digital code is because they didn't want to have to make a PS4 and a PS5 version of both Collector's editions. They only wanted to make one but still give you both versions of the game. They also wanted to primarily market it as a PS5 game so they weren't going to make the box say PS5 and then give you a PS4 disc so that you could get the free upgrade.
You're complaining about an 8? Really?
GOTY doesn't go to the game with the highest score. Idk how people haven't realized this by now.
Remember this when God of War Ragnarok comes out. Even if it has a lower score that doesn't mean anything. God of War 2018 had a lower score than RDR2 and still smashed it.
People said the same thing when RDR2 got like an 97 when it released. Don't count GOW Ragnarok, BOTW2, or Starfield out. Reviews are done by one person from a site. A GOTY award is decided by everyone. If only that reviewer played Elden Ring then it has a less chance of winning.
Held off on Tribes because I knew it was the type of game to end up on PS+. Have Curse of the Dead Gods already and I recommend it to anyone who likes Dead Cells. Don't have FIFA and don't care about it. I hate when they do these sports games on PS+
