I could be wrong now, but wasn´t people forced to buy the Kinect when the Xbox One was new? (as in a bundle kind of thing).

I knew about the cartridge loader, Snes and the broken cd-rom player part. However, I don´t know if they will be able to fix the cd-rom drive. I could be wrong, but isn´t the cd-rom drive a part which they can just remove from the console? If so, it should be easier to replace it.

You have a very good eye for details ;) That would be correct, and I´m quite sure that´s the main reason behind why the N64 controller was so diffrent from the Snes controller (Nintendo wanted to leave that part of their history behind them).
It leans more towards being real than fake, I´ve seen the x-ray scans, read the interview, and seen more pictures of the console. However, it seems like the cd-rom drive is broken :S

You are 100% spot on mate, and that´s exactly what´s going down as we speak. And it´s going to get far worse if something isn´t done about it.
That´s up to the devs to decide, and if I´m not wrong now. You (the player) will be able to change the clothes of the fighters as well (even if you can´t, I bet that there will be mods for PC that allows you to do that).
