I never understood online trophies to begin with. "You don't have Internet? Shame on you! X game shutdown, your loss! People boosted off of your lack of skill, git gud!" They irritated the hell out of me. Also it forces people to play their way, not for a checklist then never play the game(s) again unless their friends/family are online.
Honorable Mentions:
X-Men vs Street Fighter
Tekken 3
Gauntlet
Power Stone
X-Men Arcade
Virtua Fighter 2
DDR Extreme
Capcom vs SNK
After the whole ROM issue I swore off Nintendo until they actually change their stance on the situation. I'm not talking about illegal downloading ROMs (like purchase off a site where it's free elsewhere), or homebrew, but to shut down sites so they can use the excuse "protecting IPs" is just BS. There's tons of games that never had US release (or elsewhere), and those same games will most likely never be released either. So to someone like myself who wants to experie...
I'll stick to the offline versions of the games. ESO was another disappointment I refuse to revisit.
The countless hours spent for good experiences, good memories, and the start of me going to Evo/Combobreaker? No. No amount of money will equal what I learned from gaming that school couldn't even teach me. The experiences are more than whatever my current collection is worth.
The Division added trading a year later. The way trading works is as long as you're in the group at the time of said drop(s), within an hour you and your team can drop the gear and someone can pick it up. After an hour it's yours or it's lost.
No trade, no buy. I can't stand games where everyone else gets what they don't want, and what you want you MIGHT get when it's not even worth the headache.
Reminds me of Strip Fighter 2 on PC.
I'm thinking one disc for story, one for multiplayer.
I just canceled my pre-order. The 180 turns with this company is starting to get under my skin.
You mean I can finally play Capcom vs SNK and Marvel vs Capcom on the big screen?
I do hate the idea of studios going under, and yes it is a sad day for people to be laid off. At the same time, this is what happens when companies think with their pockets first.
It's one per page, use caution.
I actually have a couple of questions regarding this that the article didn't touch:
Are we able to access our older save data in some way/form? I know it says you can't use memory cards but what about us who still have the Memory Card reader for the PS3?
Will there be Dual Shock controllers released in the future?
San Andreas on PS2 was bigger and better than 5. After 5 I I'm done with the series unless they do something unique like Vice City and San Andreas is.
Am I the only one who read this Opinion Piece as satire?
It's written in what. Where I'm from What is the official language next to English.
OT
Sony and Nintendo can offer F2P but MS can't? What does MS offer the other 2 doesn't which warrants ALL games requiring gold?
I want physical so when a console is no longer supported, I can still replay some of my older games without being told "NO" and at the mercy of the publishers/Internet.
FINAL FIGHT!
Now if only Konami had a release like this with their beat em ups.
If I remember there's already some sort of Season 2 leak from a former employee, and some of who they mention is already confirmed. I'll take Grandpa Gohan as a potential candidate.
