I'm buying a 6-pack or two of sarsaparilla for release haha.
A new IP would be even better. Why complain about franchise fatigue then turn around and ask for more games in existing franchises?
Ugh, unfortunately I don't think microtransactions and dlc are going anywhere. People buy them up like candy nowadays. But we have seen much progress though with YouTubers and other media speaking up for gamers, hopefully that continues. One thing that needs to go away is pre order bonuses, those have gotten out of hand as well.
No resolution does matter. I've had a 1080p tv for 7 years now and I fully expect by now that console games should be able to hit that mark. You still want 720p games?
@Dragon, "If anyone is disappointed by a lacklustre MP from a franchise whose primary focus has always been SP and has never had groundbreaking MP, what the hell is wrong with you? "
That's your opinion. I was absolutely hooked on U2 mp until they updated it to make it more accessible. And U3 mp was great as well, especially with dynamic maps. Lot's of people love Uncharted mp.
Also U2 mp incorporated the climbing aspect, so in a way it was...
It's the same in competitive CS: GO. You can't just join a match in progress and before the game starts it makes sure everyone is in. If you leave you get a cooldown period. You can't have competitive matches without rules like this in place, and if you have unstable internet then you shouldn't be playing competitive modes.
Misleading title for hits I guess.
@ Taco, what the hell are you on about? All I see is comments about it looks good/great/amazing. I don't see anything about it's the best looking game ever or the facial tech is the best ever. Calm down and stop trying to crap on other people's parade.
And yeah there is hype, you know why? When the Kara tech demo was released it was so emotional, and presented so many possibilities for a great game/story that we have been wanting it for years. We were told there w...
Hell freakin yes! Tune to start saving for a PS4.
I was trying to explain to someone the other day what makes Fallout so special. It's kinda hard as it doesn't have the best graphics, the best story and usually there's a lot of bugs on release. But once you start playing there's a certain charm this game has that's irresistible.
Point is, if you're playing for the graphics than you're playing the wrong game.
It would be cool to have a demo where you can create your character and choose the attributes. And when the game releases you could upload the character if you choose. It would save time and be cool imo.
Call me weird, but I like the orange accents, not really a COD fan though.
There's a line between fan and fanatic. Just because he/she won't buy a game that they don't see enough value in doesn't make them any less of a fan.
I hear there are going to be Star Wars lunchboxes, will you get those too? If not you're clearly not a fan of lunch or Star Wars./s
I feel ALL mp only games should be sold for a max of $39.99. If they're charging full price, that's not right, but if people still want to pay that for mp only, that's on them. I just hope it's clear to the consumer.
Yeah, I think it's nothing more than old hardware limitations. And I can't stand how Scark92 says it's greed like any corporations main goal isn't to make money. There's still a lot of last gen gamers that haven't made the jump yet and I see this more like giving COD fans a mp game to hold them off another year until they can upgrade.
I'm fine with higher RAM requirements a long as it's not due to dev laziness. RAM is cheap right now anyway. You'll probably be able to get 8 GB for under $40 on Black Friday sales.
Man you guys got me hyped. I'm ready to get back in the game now!
@lighter9, lol my favorite book series of all time is the Dark Tower series by Stephen King. The first of 8 books was released in 1982, the last in 2012. Imagine waiting 30 years for a story to finish. Luckily I discovered the series at the time the last book was released.
Not everyone can get immersed in weekly shows. I for one find it hard to do. I like binge watching shows and typically wait till either the series is over or enough seasons are out so I can indulge myself. I'm barely watching Breaking Bad because of this.
On the topic if this game and furthermore the growing trend of episodic games, I'm against it. Not saying I don't buy it, but I'll wait until all episodes are out. The last thing I want to do is get vested in...
It is. "Eagle-eyed observers will note that the soda is simply a repackaging of Jones Soda’s berry lemonade flavor, albeit with a much more vibrant appearance."
