"They rely on the same franchises every gen just like MS. With 1 or 2 surprises each gen like Splatoon or No More Heroes."
You say this in the year they release a new Spiderman, God Of War and (debateble) Detroit?
Nintendo keeps franchises that sell around same ad their competitors. Sony kept Uncharted around because it sold. They ditched Killzone and Resistance because their sales were declining. Nintendo was planning...
"My thing is, most of those indie games are already out for the Vita and the Vita was bashed for having too many indie games. The double standards are ridiculous"
I think what you've said is largely untrue. The Vita's life was, for the most part, nothing but ports of old games. The Switch is recieving ports of games old and new, AND new exclusive titles that are more than capable of rivalling its competitors offerings.
...
The only time it was really true for the switch was if you owned one during the first month. There were times where I'd completed a majority of the major releases/Indies and felt like I was waiting for games.
This year though? Its been largely good. Q1 was a bit slow but there is always atleast one game I'm interested in releasing every week or every other week on the system.
Don't think the original needs a remaster any time soon. The only reason I see for a remaster to exist is so that they can make a PS4, Xbox One or Switch version. I'd rather them start over with a reboot so we can start from scratch to open up the doors to this becoming a franchise because the original had brilliant gameplay. It lacked a bit in terms of lore because it felt a little generic in areas but a reboot can help solve that.
Not having a refund policy is definitely hostile. Imo the standard should be a no questions asked refund if the product has not been played for more than 4 hours. Only other exception would be if a game launched in a state comparable to No Mans Sky where it's not actually working.
Let me guess what you were thinking: "Man I hate people bashing Sony cuz of their anti consumer stance in crossplay. WAIT!! If I just talk about the exclusives no one will care about the multiplats! Sony can't be in the wrong cuz they got great games. They're always right cuz they have great games. Praise Sony!"
Sony makes good games and their system has good exclusives. However, it doesn...
It's their platform but it's not their game. Whatever happened to that creative freedom we used to praise Sony for? Is it good that they're not listening to developers now?
"I dont drink cool aid friend, I'm alergic to bullshit."
Well then enlighten us as to why Sony should have a say in what 3rd parties wish to do with their games specifically when it comes to crossplay with consoles, and how it benefits their consumers?
"No topic should be others should at the very least try to match Sony games wise."
No, the topic is crossplay. If you want to talk games go to a comment section where that's the topic of the article. If you can't handle that then gtfo.
"Sony may one day do cross play with Xbox but for it to happen ms will have to pay and allow it on sony's terms"
No way did the BF4 beta suck. The beta ran better than the full game did at launch in many respects (lack of crashing being the main one). Which of these two maps compares to seige of Shanghai? Both of them aren't even close.
Shanghai was a brilliantly designed map (especially when the skyscraper was still up) and I've played countless times on that map. I don't see the same charm or polished design in the two current maps we've been shown.
"Ps2 had cross play
Ps3 had cross play
Ps4 has cross play"
Straw man. No one is saying the system doesn't have crossplay but that they are now the only remaining barrier to full blown crossplay across all systems. Is that not true? Nintendo support it, and MS support it, so who's the odd one out that's not playing ball? Sony. You don't get a pass just because you're good in other areas of...
"Why would the MCU movie have anything to do with the game?"
The idea is that the deal with Sony and Marvel is they get a Spiderman movie and Sony gets a license to make a game. Sony could make as many Spiderman movies as they like and not own the rights to make a game
Being a part of the MCU is a huge deal since it lends credibility and offers access to this like Ironman and Robert Downey jr to make an appeara...
The only side of this I slightly understand is with Pokemon where cloning could become possible and remove the value in event pokemon. But even then they need to have a system in place like Pokemon Bank by default.

As always with drama like this the truth is somewhere in the middle.
Overall though can't say I'm especially interested in keeping track of this. Think we're having a slow news day lol.
As long as theirs a content warning before going to the page there should be no complaints from the you know what brigade ;)

Yokai Watch 4 is big money for them.

Basically their lack of a refund policy on digital purchases.
Oh dude you got me. Stellar argument right there.

Well, they do that as soon as the Direct ends. All the trailers during the Livestream will be released within a few minutes of the show ending.
