@Thundercat77
So my agenda is that I think the game is more exciting to play than watching the documentary? O.o
Burn me at the stake immediately, lol!
Pretty sure I remember a fair and balanced slogan from Fox at one point so it's debatable. I haven't seen much from them in recent years but I doubt it's radically different. At the end of the day all 3 are big supporters of the establishment so I wouldn't be so quick to offer praise to any of them.
@bluefox755
"but what does Fox News have to do with anything? Would a CNN viewer have better thoughts on the matter? I'm confused."
Oh look a MSNBC type person
Well, you should have learnt to read better <3
"You said God Of War 2018 is a bad game ?"
Nope. Show me where I said that. I just think it's very hyperbolic to say the documentary could be just as exciting or better than the game. God of War is a brilliant game.
Educate me on what that means.
"Sony understands that witnessing the process behind making games can be just as exciting as playing the game itself"
Lol, settle down there pal. The only time the documentary could be more exciting than the game is if the development was an absolute clusterfuck and a bad game was produced.
"So you might have used an incorrect word?"
Well he said "good 1st party games" and you have incredibly low standards for what is considered a good game so I actually think @autobotdans statement is completely fine.
@Nyxus
which is why I said 90% of what they play is pretty much the same.
Actually both audiences are pretty much the same minus the Japanese audience for the PS4. I love how many Sony fans think they're a "step higher" or more hardcore than Xbox users when they're pretty much playing the exact same games/genres roughly 90% of the time. If Sony were to go under and disappear the vast majority of you will run to an Xbox and vice versa.
Lots of people want that sort of game. Do they want Borderlands 3 to be it? Probably not but I'm not sure who was expecting it to be thst anyway.
"Also according to Wikipedia Wii U got 763 games compared to Vita’s 1562. Suffice to say that’s more than “a few extra scraps” of third party titles"
Yes they're exactly that. No one with any sense is buying a Vita or Wii U for any of the 3rd party games listed here: https://www.metacritic.com/...
The vast majority were available on othe...
@Sprinterboy
Try mounting that 40" screen in your small 1 room apartment. Also gaming culture in Japan has a huge arcade scene and they even have ID cards that you use to access your save data all while meeting new people to play with. There's also a hardcore gaming experiences that are rarely available in the West like Gundam P.O.D.
Most gamers already use those arcades and would rather complement it with a small portable system that can be used...
@PhoenixUp
If you bought either for 3rd parties you wasted your money. "Far superior" basically amounts to a few extra scraps of whatever leftovers either of these two systems could get their hands on.
I didn't say it didn't have great exclusives. I just said they're not top tier so you can continue laughing but I'm certainly not envious.
I mean I wouldn't laugh too loudly. The Wii U actually got some top tier exclusives compared to the Vita so it's probably better to be humble.
It was over sold. I recall something along the lines of "AAA games in the palms of your hands" and in the end the vast majority felt like discount versions their home console counterparts. Of course when these games sales consistently performed below expectations Sony effectively dropped all 1st party game support and all that was left were ports and the occasional JRPG and all that was in roughly 2-2.5 years after launch.
It had a few other roadblocks too like th...
The story is downright generic and the reason you think it's good is because the dialogue (despite sometimes being completely boring) was done well. The voice actors were very good and delivery of most lines was on point. All of this is just surface level and the plot is downright boring when the vast majority.
The story (properly) opens with you being sent to deal with what appears to insane asylum inmates that appear to be broken out by Rebels. Everything's fine a...
@Jin_Sakai
"Who cares about Fortnite. This discussion is about Days Gone and gamers seem to be enjoying the game. It’s also selling very well. Does that bother you?"
Because it points out how stupid your comment was where you basically said popularity should impact review score or the substance of the review, and then said it was underrated but that everyone loved it.
And I know nothing about Day's Gone's sales so nop...
"At first glance, Days Gone is the very epitome of a 6 or 7 out of 10. Not terrible, not good"
You're part of the problem when you say this. This is the dumb narrative people have in their heads specifically with game reviews and it's why everyone's getting so worked up. If you rate any game a 7 and then say it is "not good" then it's safe to assume you're saying only games that are 8+ are considered good and worth your time. Why are ...
