It's never been so abundantly clear who the winner was. These "who won?" articles are almost funny. There was seriously no competition when picking which conference was the most ballistic. I don't even have to say it. Everybody knows.

I cannot think of one. They're all manly. It's a fact. At best you'll think of one example of a revered feminine character in games, for every 20 rugged, getting-those-boots-dirty, marine-type ones.
Gears' attraction when it released was its looks since it used an engine that defined the earlier part of last gen and the fact that that gen had nothing to compete with. Now, there is insane competition, especially in 2016. It has got to be more than pretty and more than a bruit experience, because every game is in 2016. This time, gears has competition, so it won't coast through sales like it did before.
Personally, I would be worried if I were gears amongst the gia...
between ff15 and KH 3, we're not seeing this game next year. We're not seeing it the year after. 2018 at best. Which is a shame because SE needs to put the pedal to the metal and get this game out.
There are plenty of consoles out, and games are starting to sell better on next gen platforms than anywhere else. The case for japanese devs to hold back their games until "the install base is big enough" is null at this point. We're here, we're ready, and...

ff8 remake is not necessary. Lets not bog SE down with desires for anything but the ff7 remake so they can get it to us asap.
anecdotal honesty: ff8 was my first and subsequently my favorite ff. but I'm keeping things in perspective. We need ff7 on ps4 yesterday.

Let me say this much.
You don't lose E3 when you finally show a game which has remained elusive since the beginning of the previous generation.
You don't lose E3 when showcasing a remake which has been begged for since the start of the previous generation (thanks to the tech demo SE put out).
