There are a lot more people out there without PS4's than there are those who do have them. Showing people without Ps4's what they will get is building the bridge needed for customer acquisition. Not every console sold is done the second a game is announced / released. It's a collection of things, and Sony did things right. They have as much releasing this year as they do next year. It just so happens the stuff releasing next year is on another level.

90% of the funds for this kickstarter are basically people just preordering the full game for $30. This is basically a discount. And people want to complain. Get real.
They're releasing at different times. I'll be getting the xbox one version when it comes out (in the fall right?) but it almost looks as if it'll be ready for ps4 about the same time uncharted will be. Which will end up being a slightly unfair comparison for those comparing sales, considering a good majority of gamers who have both consoles will have already bought it for X1 as opposed to Ps4 when it ends up releasing there.

Sony coulda just had the FF7 reveal, and they still woulda won. Lol, there is not gonna be a phenomena close to that in a long, long time. You seriously underestimate the power of a remade classic PS4 game from a AAA team of proven developers.
UC4 and Horizon did indeed look good, but let's not take anything away from Tomb Raider. That game looked fucking incredible. Edit: and also Star Wars, even though I'm not a fan. The graphics were insane.

yeah BC is nice, don't get me wrong. But... i mean i still have my ps3, and i don't visit it to play the older games I have anymore. It would be excellent for this sparse year of games for ps4, but in 2016, nobody is gonna have time for last gen games. Way too many releases.

I played the remastered version of the old game for a bit on my old roommate's PS4. I now have my own ps4 and xbox one in my new place. I didn't finish the tomb raider from last gen--it just didn't grip me, I guess. I didn't like the B-movie cast.
