Brutalities have special requirements but they are specific for each kind of Brutality it's not always a "don't block on the winning round" type of requirement that MK9 had for babalities. Brutalities each have multiple requirements which vary so you could see something like be full screen, run or dash a certain amount of times, be above 50% health, and then do one of your special moves or grabs to end.

You can fight Goro even without the DLC. NRS just wants to sell DLC that's already on the disc.
If it is re-launched then they better plan on having the stuff PS3 owners collected brought over to the PS4 version otherwise PS4's Home will be deserted.
There was a person playing through the game last night and posting a bunch of stuff and without spoiling anything. The DLC characters (including Goro but not including the guest characters) are already on the disc as well as other characters that you play against that will likely be in the next DLC pack or even a third one).
The game isn't worth buying (definitely not on release if you're one that doesn't like to pay for content that's already on the disc).
