Not just the Devs fault. Truth is both these consoles have grossly underpowered hardware already. You're just seeing more tell tale signs.
Dude 30 fps in a game like this sucks. You need 60fps, even if it has to drop to 900p/720p.

Nothing wrong with games and engines being made for higher than the industry standard res. Much better than the other way around.
Sure not too many PC's can push 8k now.. But when they can..This engine won't look dated.
All someone needs to do is take the Day Z Idea.. Which is brilliant in my opinion... and then do it properly. The problem with mod Day Z and even the new Day Z is it's build on the ridiculous Arma engine which makes the game one the most unfluid, clunky, and broken experiences to date.
I disagree, last gen the consoles both had cutting edge technology. PC's couldn't keep up for some time. This time round the consoles have underpowered and old technology - there's 0 wow factor.
Seriously I've bought every console on both sides since NES days. This might be the first gen I skip.

I remember all the fans were touting 4k gaming at 60fps. Now look were we are. PS4 fanboys are happy with mediocrity only because it's marginally better than the X1 and all most people care about is sticking it to the man.
1080p @ 30fps is an absolute joke. Last gen we were promised 1080p - we got 720p @ 30fps. This gen we were promised 1080p @ 60fps - we get 1080p @ 30fps.

I always welcome open world games. The title of this article is ridiculous anyway. Will it be 'better'? - Better what? Better sales? If it were to better GTA5 in sales it would literally be a world record, which is a ridiculous expectation.

Don't be clueless, people wait for steam sales which are always on. In between those sales go to GMG, Humble Bundle and other CD key sites. Games are a ton cheaper on PC and online is free, its makes console gaming look like such a scam. Which it is.
